2014 Chevy Malibu active grille shutter replacement for U0294

I replace the shutter assembly that came with a new motor. Cleared all the codes. Now I'm getting another code lost communication with Grille shutter. Does the PCM have to be reflashed when you replace the Grille shutter assembly? U0824 code

I don't think it is related to that, once you replace the shutter you should be good did you try to clear those codes

Active shutter stuck off code p059f. Also code u0284 lost communication with shutter.

I think you have a problem with the chassis control module, check for more codes

No that wouldn't be a symptom, more like check engine light or overheating if stuck close
