2014 Chevy Malibu Trunk Fix 

Be careful with that green tab hanging sometime your grocery bags laundry bags or boxes will get caught onto it and you won’t be able to open your trunk…..you would have to go from inside pull the seat down get a pole or something with a hook 🪝 to move it…. It happen more than once to me…. Lol and thank you for the video….. really helps…. ✌️

Did you get the trunk open warning after replacing with OReilys part? I had same issue as you did but when I replaced it with the parts store part it now shows Trunk open warning. So when we walk away with key FOB the doors dont auto lock any more since it thinks the trunk is open.....never had that issue before.
