Throwback to the last time Kansas City and Oakland played on Thursday Night, when the Raiders pulled off a huge upset to get Derek Carr his first career victory.
I want to thank Tony Sparano for giving the Oakland Raiders a rebirth winning feeling after their 0-10 drought, you and Derek Carr gave us hope again. Thank you and Rest in Peace, Tony! RN4L!
This is probably my favorite RAIDER game ever. A friend of mine, and fellow RAIDER fan, passed away one week before this game. We were 0-10, I swear, the Raiders won this for him.
Barry Brower Oh my gosh, like my whole family lives in Salt Lake, Brigham and Willard! So Ik exactly where thats at, you are super close! I live down in AZ and Im not too far from it either, I have season tickets so I really hope it starts on time 😂
I was at this game. The Rain made it extra special. Seeing Carr's first career win was amazing for me. I'm from Fresno and followed him through his years as a Bulldog.
@@SUPERBATIRONHULK They were a team that tanked for Carr, and were still trying to rebuild in 2014. They made the playoffs in 2016 and could've been better if Carr wasn't hurt and the team wasn't so old. I'm saying this and I don't even care about Oakland/Las Vegas.
Why am I watching this in July 20th of 2023...well it popped into my feed. I remember this game vividly. I miss the old Carr from 2014-2016 and seeing Charles Woodson in a raiders jersey. R.I.P. Carr lol
How many y’all notice our future All Pro center playing for the Chiefs. Yup that’s Rodney Hudson playing center for the Chiefs, this was the year before we signed him to the richest contract for a center at the time in 2015. Only him and Derek Carr remain from the 2015 roster.
I was at this game.... BY FAR the best raider game Ive ever been to! Rain, wind, cold, 0-10 record, ... we withstood it all just to see them Win.... and they did it!! It was fucking awesome.
I remember watching this while I was in the hospital for a long time made it a lot better watching the Raiders get their first win of the year, I also remember being at training camp that year when Carr was a rookie.
When they would flood the school playground during the holidays ,we used to play football and it was so much fun slipping and sliding we loved it growing up
The game that made Derek Carr famous. He was pretty much the franchise QB the Raiders have been looking for years and he solidified his position after this game and is still on the Raiders today.
He just got benched two days ago 😢 I just came here to see where it all began. I remember this game. He beat Andy Reid, Kelce, and Alex Smith with a rookie Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper.
R.I.P Tony Sparano great guy & great coach. He did good with what he had. Love Tuck the guys a beast. I remember him in Super Bowl sacking Brady. I held "TUCK THAT BADY!"
I was at this game 0-10 but we still sold out the coliseum. Could have been 0-15 still would have sold out that’s the hard fans we are . To bad we couldn’t stay in the O town. But it’s still the fabric of our roots. Go Raiders
It’s crazy people hate on DC he’s a top 10 QB that gives everything he got when he step out on the field. We was losing bad and he never gave up he’s a true Raider and he’s the 🐐. Hopefully this season DC finally has a defense. with a new DC in Gus Bradley I’m praying we’re a top 15 defense. DC and the offense are top 10 we need to get stops. Let’s go get this SB this season.💯🏴☠️😤
i damn near blew a gasket when i saw moore and mack celebrating 20 yards in the offensive backfield as kansas city was lining up ready to call hike. i was embarrassed to be a raider fan in that moment. thank god for justin tuck.
I wasn't man they get a pass they thought they got the game ending sack I don't give a damn what anyone says they were hyped up to end the game on their terms
2 of my top-6 all-time favorite NFL teams duking it out: My #5 Oakland Raiders & my #6 Kansas City Chiefs. I remember watching this game as if it was literally yesterday, although it happened only a few years ago.
This year they got to come out remembering how this win felt. Remember when they were the worst team in the NFL, but they came out battling one of the best and won.
This team was very low on talent but man this is probably my favorite win because all of the heart on this team. They cared as much as the fans and even though they weren’t good they played extraordinary for three hours against a playoff caliber team
We know what the Chiefs' peak is, which is a decent perennial playoff team that is too lame to ever win a SB with this core/HC. We don't know what the Raiders' peak is but we do know the sky could be the limit. Lots more reasons to be optimistic for Oakland than for Kansas City. I'm not a fan of either team. Sorry.
You could see DC was gonna be legendary even with this 0-10 team. The talent wasn't up to par but you could see the arm, decision making, quick release, high intangibles, audible calling and leadership abilities, no quit grit. Glad we got him for a long while.
I already miss Derek Carr! If he ever got the offensive line, or defense of the great Raiders teams of the past...he would have been a great Raider quarterback!
Chiefs fan here and I have to agree, it was indeed a beautiful run. Enjoying watching Carr’s first win. It’s a shame the Raiders couldn’t ever put it all together at once with him.
Derek Carr lost his first 10 games in his rookie season, but this one VS the Chiefs...sweet victory and remember the raiders havn't won a game in a year till Carr Turned things around, 16 losses in a row they had till this Game
The last Raiders RB I saw run up the gut of a defense taking all the way 4 the TD was Napoleon Harris!! 80 something yds against the New York football Giants on 1st possession!! Ladarius Murray?? WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT GUY?? He had such promise!
