What an ironic opening line: "A saturday to remember". No Vols fan remembers that saturday cause they got so drunk after losing to the Gators again, especially like that.
jkcrusher18 it wasn't a strategy to make us favorable, it was a movement to create a bigger identity for our fan base and enjoy the game in a better way. Checkerboard is one of our identities and we wanted to create something big that hasn't been designed before. I don't think you know this but trust me as a student on campus that saw this whole process unveil it wasn't something to make us the better team. Let me tell you what we did learn from this; when we all come together and want to do something great, we can achieve it, and it damn right looked awesome! Go VOLS!
Chase M i believe its called playing until the whistle blows. Muschamp never took a knee, just because Florida lines up in victory formation, doesnt't mean that the defense doesnt play that play.
yeah there is also a written rule that says that players are not to vandalize or damage oppenets property before during or after the game, but it looks like Florida doesnt follow the rules very well now do they? PS: it is a unwirtten rule if the QB takes a knee, but your QB decided to just dance around in the backfield.
If driskel could have been under Urban Meyers program when Dan Mullen was the O.C. or even now under Dan Mullens program he would have been beast and fit that system perfect.
Leave it up to a former Georgia player to to seriously run a once great Gator program to the ground. I believe Driskel would have been a more productive player with an improvement in coaching. Remember when Muschamp claimed he didn't hear the "Fire Muschamp" chants when Mizzou whipped our asses in 2014?
Is there any replay of this game that has better quality? I can’t find it anywhere on the internet. I was at this game and the comeback was epic. It truly was great to see all those fans being disappointed.
Is there a full video upload with the "fuck you Florida" chant that came from the Tennessee crowd that the Tennessee people pumped through the stadium?
I watched this to see Treon for the first time in an SEC game because I missed the actual game, and he made better desicions than Jeff Driskel when he ran the ball, he was a more accurate thrower, and Jeff Driskel even made an awful desicion when he was trying to take a knee are you kidding me... Jeff is offically a joke, and next after this he throws away the game against LSU... Can't wait to see Treon Harris play against Missou.
Lol Hunter Scott. Did you know that we wanted Muschamp fired? The fact that the Vols didn't beat one of Florida's worst coaches for four years in a row, makes Tennessee look even worse than before.
All I said was every gator fan wanted muschamp gone.. But ok sounds good? Muschamp for whatever reason didn't no how to get an offense rolling for whatever reason even though he had lots of 4 and 5 star recruits under his disposal. Thats pretty bad coaching
Do know what's Evan funnyer when we lost to geogria tennessee's coach butch jones did not get fired but when gators lost to South Carolina your coach did get fired now ant that funny LOL
Did you know that Jeff Driskel passed for over 4000 yards in his last season at Louisiana Tech he also had 27 touchdowns to 6 Interceptions. Goes to say if you open up the offense he was really good.
It was a correct call dude. We won get over it. "The back judge is responsible for delay of game calls. The procedure for the back judge is for his eyes to stay on the clock when it nears zero. When the clock hits zero, he immediately looks from the clock to the ball. If the ball is moving, there is no delay of game. If the ball is stationary, a delay of game penalty is called." Screenshots of the incident showed that the Gators did indeed snap the ball after the play clock hit zero ... mweb.cbssports.com/ncaaf/eye-on-college-football/24710707/sec-issues-statement-on-florida-kentucky-delay-of-game-call
RenTin Yeah, AFTER the clock hit zero. It should have been a delay of game. That's like saying OPI isn't really a penalty just because it rarely gets called.
+encycl07pedia No, I actually watched their games, and they didn't change the outcome. (ps, it is a bowl, not the playoffs) The Gators had won this one anyways, even with the penalty.
Dinosam2010 C Where did I say playoffs, dumbfuck? Bowls are part of the postseason, but I guess a Gator fan wouldn't be smart enough to figure that out. Yes, those penalties not being called had a huge effect on the outcome. You don't know that those plays would have been scores if they were properly called.
Driskel wasn't really bad in this game!for the most part. The Fact is Florida needs to recruit some WR's.Driskel is damaged goods from here on.The bottom line is,he lost trust and became a turnover machine. The plays are there scheme wise, but Driskel lost complete confidence each game starting with bama and got worse and worse.Had a sure Td drop for the win against LSU,it's inexcusable.
we despised worley. shew he beat out a 4 star qb cause of money and so called who you know type deal. By the way its great to see muschamp disappointed coaching a team barely bowl eligible. woo hoo great job will
+CivilWarMan Woooooohooooo booooeyyyy!! It's all about us in the East right now baby! Can't beat us in 11 games, LOL. We have a 29 win streak on Kentucky, LMAO. Gators are the true kings of the East, if u look at the past and what we r doing this year. We fought, and fought so we could beat y'all's asses. Hey TN, learn how to finish a game! Y'all still caouldn't beat when y'all were up by 13 in the 4th! Same with Oklahoma, I mean damn y'all suck grandma titties. Go Gators baby!!
Sorry pal, but even if Tennessee pulls it off, you get no props for winning in a rivalry game once in 11 years. Sadly, what was once a great rivalry is now just another game thanks to Tennessee's putrid play and going 0-10.
Luke Pike Luke is right on here. When your best coach in the past 10 years (statistically) is Lane Kiffin, you really ought to shut up until you ACCOMPLISH something.. Beating the Gators ONCE every ELEVEN years is not a big deal.
Luke Pike Coming from a Gator Fan I don't know what our season will look like we don't even know who is going to be our quarterbacks. but that not the problem we got a new Head coach and our offensive line is crap.
Blackpuma striver Well what you just said has pretty much been the story every year for Florida since 2009. But they still beat Tennessee all those years. Haha
