Yes, if he would have had the 1999,2012,2013,2023,2022 teams he would be looked at totally different. I always liked him but he was handed a bad deal on and off the field
Man, Francois was a talented guy who could never get his head on straight and stay out of trouble off the field. On the field, he spent nearly as much time on the ground as he did on his feet...FSU's OLine was so, so, so bad...one of the worst in the country.
The o-line was def terrible at FSU for years. Seems like they’ve just recently been able to put one together. Can’t remember how bad it was this particular season but I know by the ‘18 season it was terrible. Landon Dickerson became a monster tho.
@@encycl07pedia- I 100% blame Charles Kelly for 2014 loss to Oregon. He also is responsible for the loss to Louisville the next year. One of the worst coaches to ever coach the Noles.
@@joshuarowell7732 Fisher was worse, IMO. He lost control of the team and kept recruiting players that ended up on Last Chance U. Jameis Winston and Dalvin Cook should get half of his paycheck. Kelly seems like a nice guy, too. Fisher is a thief. Believe me, I really hated him as a DC, but he didn't outright betray FSU. He's also not even the worst DC FSU has had: you probably blocked it out, but Harlan Barnett's 2018 defense gave up 31.5 PPG, the most in FSU history.
@@encycl07pedia- But those defenses weren’t with 5 star talent. Taggart is the worst coach by far, but Trickett and Kelly aren’t far behind. I can’t say Jimbo was that bad because we got a 3rd title and one of the best teams of all time.
