I have a 2009 Yamaha FZ6R. I just recently installed rearsets from a 2005 Yamaha R6. They fit great with a few modifications. The brake side needs some adjusting as I am trying to utilize the stock master cylinder instead of buying an R6 one. Can the joint where the hose connects from the brake fluid reservoir be turned 90degrees? I wasn't sure if it's a fixed position and didn't want to break it. Your video is very informative and well done. Thanks.
On some master cylinders, the host connector is held in by a snap ring, Check you may be able to pull the snap ring and rotate the connector. If you have a haynes manual you can double check. Thanks
Depends on how good you are with picking up new skills. Do you normally good at fixing stuff. If not purchase a later model, in good condition and learn as you go. Like changing your own oil and filter. If you can manage that then try more things. Otherwise you will have to pay the dealer to do all of your work, can get expensive.
