Hi, My K9 brake lever seems to have a lot of travel compared to the brakes on my SP1. Looking at your video you're lever has a lot of travel to. Is this normal?

It will vary from bike to bike, the main thing you need to ensure is the brake lever is not “spongy”

I'm working on a K6 for my cousin but found out it has a 2012-ish master on it. It also has a ton of travel but otherwise feels mostly ok.

How much is the part? Or did they send one for free

You normally need to take the bike to Suzuki if you want the free one or you can purchase it if you want to fit it yourself
