Just got the 2015 SXL in white back in February and I love it. Especially the folding mirrors. It is the cherry on top of a nice looking car!

I have a 2013 SX and I love it!! I hate that this one does not have paddle shifting cause I love ladles shifting. I'm looking at adding a lot more power to it. Love the car great Job Kia!

Very nice car. I like the stiching on the seats, they remind me of those in the Audi s8 but for 41'700$ you can still get a sonata for less or a cadenza or even better, the new genesis

The Optima has does have paddle shifters. But only on the models that don't have the heated steering wheel. So you basically have to pick between the two. It is rather strange that both can't be had together though. Equally as surprising tho is how far Kia as a brand and the Optima as a model have come in the past few years. Just look at the early-2000's Optima behind this new one in this video for a good illustration. Buick has had a similar dramatic brand image transformation in the last 5-6 years or so as well, and both brands are two of the fastest growing brands in America now.

I love this car, I like the features and the exterior , but Im finding it hard to find the 1980 s style dashboard facing driver. Kinda like knight rider type dash. Nice but I wish I could look similar to the cadenza . And I agree the engine sounds almost like a lawnmower. But nice car overall.

Better choice IMO,tho I don't like the 2015 Sonata styling as well as predecessor... don't like some of styling of Optima interior especially dash layout & gear shift

Although I will agree with you that the interior and the exterior styling is very nice, I can't agree with what you said about slapping a BMW or Mercedes emblem on the car. I own a 2011 BMW 550i X-Drive M-Sport and the technology that is on that car will far exceed any current optima and the materials that they used are more expensive, which is why German cars and any luxury brand is so expensive. It comes down to expensive materials, superior technology, superior performance & build quality. Anyways, would I buy a Kia Optima? Absolutely, simply because they are good on gas, they have an amazing warranty and they are great looking cars now.

Brian Cooke, he's comparing this car at the pricepoint to a BMW 320i or Mercedes C-class. It's quite comparable to entry level German cars, not the 5 series- E-class, A6, etc. A 550i is the top of the BMW 5 series spectrum, it's almost a $70,000 car. So what are you thinking?

Actually they do that so if they take someone for a test drive and that person decides to car jack the salesman the carjacker wont be able to get very far without having to stop for gas. This increases the chance that the police will find them before they get very far, they get a picture id of the person on gas station camera and the salesman has a chance to escape.

+Lim Sam You wouldn't.. That is the suggested retail price. You'll have a trade-in (more than likely), it may be time for them to meet a sales quota and knock off 4-5k. If it's end of the year they'll take more off the price.

Lim Sam I might be too late but if you watch 6:43 you will see the total retail price which is $37k my 15 Optima was the same amount when it was new you couldn’t get toward $41k in that Optima back when it was new I don’t even think the new Optima would pass 41k

Camerons Car Reviews I bought one new car, and I planned on buying a used civic, but dealerships gave me new '11 civic for less.. 15k, only the LX though. Those days of 15k-new are gone. I was looking at si, so I regretted it. Bought a 5yr old lexus for 22k. Preference. New car smell is overrated. I'd rather have a certified, clean carfax that's like new.. You save so much money. Do what you want, it's a no-brainer for me. Never had a bad experience buying used and had warranties too. So what's the problem?

CJ S Literally, I can go out and buy a nice beautiful 3 year old BMW X5 and Porsche Cayenne (New Generation) for less than 30k. Rather have that than a new Chevy Cruze for 25k ahaha😂😂. Right now I have a current generation F30 BMW 3 Series with 102k miles and don’t plan on giving it up for a long time.

Camerons Car Reviews Sweet ride. That mileage means nothing to me. If it's in near brand new shape. Good ebough for me. My next car will be is 350, but these will be 6, 7 yo and will cost probably 18+.. Maybe is250.. we'll see. I'll finance 8 give or take with trade in. That's doable.

It sounds very smooth actually. The ticking noise is made by the fuel injectors. Mine makes the same noise and when the engine is revved up, the engine sounds even sweeter. It's a good engine.
