Please don't follow this video to install your cambers arms LOL. I failed miserably due to the bolt being seized inside the bushing itself. Fortunately Real Auto Dynamics was able to cut the bolts off and install new ones. This is Just a little video to put out for you guys.

Thanks @jason___andrew for coming through for the help.

Thanks for taking one for the team on this one and showing us a potential problem to expect. I'm thinking about getting +35 offset wheels in the back as well. Did you need to do this to prevent rubbing? are you lowered?
@ChrisKheluram
@ChrisKheluram 4 года назад
19Stifler91 lmao thanks for noticing, +35 barely clears the rear, If you’re on coil overs or springs you might rub a tad bit depending your tire size. I’m running a 265/30r19 which is fat ass tire. 255/30r19 should clear but you’ll still need slightly a little camber.. I’m on air suspension

I’m running +40 on the rear With 265 It rubs on big dips or with passengers in the car.

Could've out jack under rotor and took top of coilovers bolts out and let the jack down a little too get mad room

And I was just about to purchase some 19x9.5 +30 fr and 19X10.5 +22 in the back should I not go that route? Lol I am on coils. I can go too low in my country. Also I see you have spacers, I didn’t plan to use spacers unless absolutely necessary.
@ChrisKheluram
@ChrisKheluram 4 года назад
Unless you’re running camber arms with some serious camber adjustment, that route probably won’t be your best route.. all wheels do fit differently but as for the fronts I believe you can get away with it but that 9.5 width might hit the coils then you would have to run spacers with a higher offset wheel.. 19x8.5 +25 - +30 you should be safe for the fronts and 19x9.5 +38- +55 is your safest option.. you can run 19x10.5 in the rear but your offset needs to be within that range.. and ofc if you want a more aggressive set up that’s we’re the camber arms come In

I use spacers to bring the wheel out more for looks.. Consider subscribing bro so you get a heads up on my next video; which will be my next wheel set up and I’ll go over what’s safe and what’s not safe for our cars

😬 I got 18x9.5 +12 squared I wondering if a -3 would even work for me
@ChrisKheluram
@ChrisKheluram 4 года назад
Damn dude that won’t fit front or rear.. you would need to go widebody and even then idk if it’ll clear..and a -3 is super dangerous.. if this isn’t your daily and it’s a show car you can do what you want. But if it’s your daily -3 will cause a lot of wear on the tire thread and you will literally have no traction on rainy days

I’m on RSR lowering springs, and I’m wondering if I should run camber and toe arms just so I can get a little lower plus I can’t run 20’s anymore cause I’m low and running camber would help that. But idk what I should do.
@ChrisKheluram
@ChrisKheluram 4 года назад
If I was you I would get camber arms if my wheel or tire was rubbing or hitting the fender itself.. depending on what springs whether it was RSR down, half down, or super down and what offset are the wheels I can’t really say but I would say 20” with the right offset and width can fit pretty good in the front and rears on our cars depending on the spec of you wheel
@xlexusrenz
@xlexusrenz 4 года назад
Chris Kheluram as of now I have the RSR Down, as it was the one in the middle between half down and Super down. But I was always going for that Big wheel VIP look as I’m trying to find F sport bumper and then I would need either a Aimgain kit or a Blackpearl kit. Which both hands down look amazing but I Also need to replace my headliner. I want like a soft headliner with the RR starry lights.
@ChrisKheluram
@ChrisKheluram 4 года назад
If that’s the case and you really want to run 20” it would look good.. your tires would be a little on skinner side but once your fitment is too spec you should be fine.. if you really want a aggressive look cambering your front and rear can be a little dangerous I would probably stick to 19” that would give me a lot more room to mess around with. I would say consider bags if you’re trying to go for that VIP look dude

Hey I know a few people already asked the same question but I picked up work varianza t1s 18x9 in the rear of the 3IS they are not spacer friendly at all! So I'm either resorted to running camber with either 25mm spacer with a small shave in the studs or run 30 and avoid it all or lastly get extended studs which I don't got the money and labour for lol. Basically I picked up spc camber arms and wanna run some camber is it bad during rainy season? And does it feel different when you drive as I'm only doing this for the rear.
@DjremixDawg
@DjremixDawg 3 года назад
38 offset btw
@ChrisKheluram
@ChrisKheluram 3 года назад
18x9 38et will fit no on the rears depending on tire size.. I fit a 35et with slight camber I do also have a slight stretch but if you’re running the same specs in the front you will need a spacer, it might cause issues clearing your caliper. All you really need is a 15mm spacer upfront
@ChrisKheluram
@ChrisKheluram 3 года назад
You won’t need that much camber dude or no camber at all in the rear

Yo i just bought wheels and i have a plus 35 offset in the rear too with a 265 and i just bought camber arms also cause it was rubbing. Would I be okay if I run a negative camber ?
@ChrisKheluram
@ChrisKheluram 3 года назад
Yeah you’ll be fine but keep in mind, too much camber will eat away at your tire life and when it rains it’s going to suck. But at a +35 you shouldn’t need too much camber

@@ChrisKheluram what if I’m tuning +40 with 265. 19” wheels On RSR downs it rubs on dips. What can I do so It don’t rub ??

Hey man I was watching the video when you got the rc350 exhaust and you put it in your car, I have an is 350 2014 and I would like to get the same exhaust for my car .I have a question, did it fit pretty well in your car? What else did you have to do besides cutting the stock diffuser to make it fit?
@ChrisKheluram
@ChrisKheluram 4 года назад
I know that the rc350 axle back exhaust is a direct fit for the 3is so it should fit with the stock hangers with minor adjustments but that’s about it man
@jsaldanagto24
@jsaldanagto24 4 года назад
@@ChrisKheluram hey man one more question about the rc 350 exhaust.did you do something else like cat delete or something like that to make it sound that loud? I'm interested in purchasing this same exhaust and I would like to make it sound like yours
@ChrisKheluram

Tsudo midpipe but just know if you’re AWD your going to have cut your OEM midpipe that connects to the headers and weld it on to the new midpipe. If you’re rwd drive you’re good, pluck’ n play

Do you recommend bags over other suspension? I drive an IS200T and love it only have had it for about 6 months now but i love it and am just curious about if you would recommend bags over coilovers. Also was it hard fitting the exhaust in?
@ChrisKheluram
@ChrisKheluram 4 года назад
My honest opinion I have a AWD IS250 as much as I love my car the modifications capabilities isn’t really there so I decided to go with bags. My 250 isn’t sort of the race car build. I love the air suspension but it can feel like boat when hanging a corner at 75mph in the mountains of Vermont lol. It depends on what you want; do you want to the car to handle well and have that lowered/race look all the time, is your car a performance build ? or do you want slam the car out when you’re parked. If you’re going to get coils and slam the car out anyway just go with bags your going to destroy your front end like I did and it’s not going to be worth it. If you want some what of ride height adjustment and ride comfortably go with bags. if you are doing a performance build and maybe like to track your car here and there go with coils
@ChrisKheluram
@ChrisKheluram 4 года назад
And as for the exhaust I know rc350 exhaust is a direct fit but the stock diffuser will not fit.. you’ll have to cut it or get a diffuser that will fit and clock the exhaust like the homie Jason Nguyen did with his. My cheapest suggestion is to get a 14 3is diffuser and cut out until the exhaust fits

Thank you so much bro definitely helped me out. Also love your car man I’m trying to get mine to look as good as yours but with my own little touches and twist
