These guys are idiots. They are so unintelligent that they can't do an actual review of a car. All they know is this stupid 0 to 60 mph. Don't take them too seriously.

Well, the LX570 is their only major Off-road SUV. The only alternative is the smaller GX460, and that, while it's not bad, just isn't in the same category. [Though I do wish the GX had the 5.7 litre V8. Would make for a monster of a vehicle :P]. So yeah, they'd face problems raking in a decent income at the end of the year if the LX wasn't in the line up. And there's nothing keeping them from working on a major update on a vehicle while still keeping the current one in the line-up. I'm willing to bet the 2016 model will be a rather considerable improvement. Especially now that people are pointing out the Infiniti's superiority performance-wise. Nissan, their main competitor, upgraded their Patrol and QX80 after the first iteration of the Land Cruiser and LX570 hit the markets. Toyota and Lexus didn't do anything aside from cosmetic improvements and a few minor technical tweaks with the 2013 facelift of both vehicles, so I think it's fair to say that they're planning a larger update further down the line. 2016 seems like a reasonable guess as to when we'll see it.

They say turn on sport mode, im not even sure it available. Ect power button will keep the transmission very agressive like track mode.

because a car is FWD its ew? The RX is a very stylish SUV with a look all its own and stands out in a crowd not to mention its the best all rounder in its class. Thats way it sales the top in it class.

Benz are nightmare electrical and mechanical repair , reliability , resale value suck. It will not tow well either. The Turbo engine is enough power but i think the air suspension is holding back.

QX can't do much off road.

***** actually I think they are based on the Nissan patrol, which is suppose to be very capable. I don't know if the qx really watered down the offroad capabilities or not.

The GX I believe is the "land cruiser prado" and this LX is the full size land cruiser.

MrNicholg From my quick googling I believe you are right that the Infiniti is the same truck as the Patrol. I guess here in the states when they put the big 22" wheels and such on the Infiniti, It doesn't look like it would ever be very good off road. I am not sure if the Infiniti has a low range box like the LX does.

Yeah, you can get a loaded Platinum Sequoia for $65K and I think is better than the new Land Cruiser. I seriously haven't seen a new land cruiser on the road once. No one is going to buy an $80K base price Toyota SUV...
