Having recently bought a Maserati Ghibli 2014 I wanted to switch the Auto Stop & Start off, the feature that stops the engine when you're standing still and immediately re-starts the engine the moment you take your foot off the brake, but I could find no answers on RU-vid or Forums so once I found out how it's done I thought I'd upload this video.
I'm not sure what's best - do you save fuel or wear out your starter motor? I'd be interested to hear other people's thoughts on Stop/Start technology. I personally have mine OFF.
You'll notice the engine is running (rev counter) but you can hardly hear it - what a car!
