The "rear converters" are not converters, and have no impact on the emissions or o2 sensors. Remove them for even more volume.

Straight pipes instead of the x-pipe wakes it up quite a bit.

Referring to the E550 w the Natural 5.5 V8, I have heard some keep the rear mufflers intact to maintain back pressure, delete the center resonators/secondary cats, and just x pipe there. Wondering if just doing the center X pipe will be enough to get a good sound?

How much would it cost to do that cause I got the same car

Looking at doing this to my 2012 E550. I've done the resonator but was curious about whether doing straight pipes vs an aftermarket performance muffler would lose some power from back pressure or lose fuel economy. Could you enlighten me?

These cars sound like chevy trucks when they are straight piped they need a good muffler.
