hi i have a 3.2 triton i have 2 codes U1102 ASCTIMEOUT/ NOT EQUIPED AND U1101 T/M CAN TIMEOUT/ NOT EQUIPED blows alot of smoke and also on scan tool acc fly by wire jumps from 1.2v to 4.9v just from 1mm movement. it says u1102 is acc pedal position sensor have you come acros this problem before?
I think I have Glow plug issues with my 2013 MN Triton, just replaced the injectors had an intake clean, valve adjustment and catch can fitted. But still have the problem only when its super cold first thing starting is a little rough idling and blows a little bit of white smoke then cleans up and all good. once warmed up a little all is good.
Mr. Technician, thank you for advises. I have almost the same problem with Triton 2018 2.5 diesel , 50.000 miles, it displays DPF problem with check engine light on. I drive mostly highways over 60mph so it was strange that DPF is blocked. After forced regeneration DPF check light is still on , it goes off after few miles of driving but appears always when I start the engine. Lack of power on hills, no black smoke. I will check vacuum but what can that be if vacuum is OK? Help...
You need to run a decarboniser additive in your fuel. The company Cost effective maintenance sell the best one I’ve found. Run that in your fuel and you’ll never have an issue. Look up FTC Decarboniser
I am getting black smoke and poor economy. Barely 550klm per tank and I am not a lead foot. I was thinking possibly EGR as it has done 160,000 Km. I am fairly certain now it is air related as you have alluded to.
I had been getting poor economy on my 2013 and excessive regen of the dpf system. Turned out to be an intake hose split to the throttle body. Over fueling and the smoke caused the dpf to regen after 50/80 miles.
I’m having a little black smoke whenever I accelerate , power is fine however however I would like to know what areas I need to consider when trying to resolve this.
