I have never seen any musicians enjoy themselves as much as these wonderful young ladies. It only adds to the magic of the music they create. OMG! Here goes my tear ducts again as Don Oatts plays his so so beautiful alto. !0 minutes to midnight and my 85th birthday! Thanks to all these wonderful musicians for their gift of music so this old man can sit with tears of joy listening to this mystery. So grateful if you haven't already figured it out!

How did these young and presumably Spanish (Catalan) women not only get the accent but the feeling, humor, soul, and voices of older black women singing the blues to their old men? Their harmony and understanding of the chord structure of the song are truly amazing. It is hard to grasp how not just one but three of them are doing this and doing it together.

I am just listenning this again, and again, and again. How cute is this??? Three girls, knowing ALL about jazz, a rythm group with outstanding coolness, a sax with so much deepness and joy of playing. Great!

When the world disappoints and gets me down, I watch this and realize there is yet hope for the future. Outstanding!

Many times now I've watched and listened to this. I can't imagine somebody complaining about these young ladies' falsetta voices. It brings tears to my eyes when I hear it. These girls are performing unbelievable melodies. And that voice sounds more like 'Lady Day' to me. They are certainly having the fun day of their lives. I love it. MUSIC IS LOVE!!!!

OK this is insane! I have watched and listened to this piece about 30 times now and every time I enjoy it more. For me Joan Chamarro and his crew have given me a musical treasure. Dick Oatts solo, the three young ladies and the wonderful trumpeter Joan Mar Sauque are musically magic, I will have this piece played at my wake. Seriously, it is that profoundly excellent an example of everything jazz should be.

I’ve been following Dick Oats ever since the Gary Walfsey days in the early 80’s. His solo on this tune is one of the best I’ve ever heard. The girls are outrageous. Beautiful trumpet cascade. Wonderful tone

This has got to be one of the musical sensations of the 21st century. The musical sophistication and artistry of the musicians of the musicians blending with the incredibly soulful and harmonious vocals of these beautiful young singers provides the hope for a renaissance of a genre of music that has lost direction for many years. Why is it so much more amazing to hear teenagers/adolescents perform jazz classics than it is to hear this amazing saxofonist? He is absolutely incredible.... yet we're all here to hear to listen to Andrea and Eva and all the other teenagers. It somehow is so much more awe strucking because of their age, though in reality.... just LISTEN to that saxofonist! But also... then again.... Who ISN'T amazing in these vids?

Everything was unbelievably magic BUT I give the gold metal to the trumpet player for his flygerhorn type velvet sound and of cource his lovely phrasing !!! He was the cherry on the cake !

I am impressed by the pianist, at 5:04 the young man on trumpet gives a somewhat unexpected note, the pianist immediately answers with a full chord! One of the singers turns around, she has noticed the genius of that reaction. And Magali is glimmering this time with her superb interpretation!
