The one thing I like about Ausfahrt.Tv is the details they provide on the vehicle. Viewers get a clear picture of the cars. You guys are highly professionals.
Brilliant review, loved the (almost English) humour. I have the previous Scirocco R and I absolutely love it, I'm not sure if I would trade it in for this model for just 20 extra bhp - It almost looks as if it is the same car!

Unfortunately, I don't believe VW is selling the Scirocco MK3 in the U.S. at all. But, there's always the possibility that VW might bring over the MK4 Scirocco (assuming they make one) and that it could replace the 2-door GTI here because it seems VW is slowly making less of them and not to mention they just removed the performance package and a lot of other performance features for the 2-door GTI for 2017, but they have remained on the 4-door variant. Also remember, VW stopped offering the Golf R as a 2-door in the U.S. starting in 2015, which also could hint at the Scirocco R taking its place.
Firstly I'd like to agree with the other comments and say a job well done on your review and I'm looking forward to future reviews. Secondly do you think VW should have used the same 4WD as the golf? Also the motor show "Drive it" suggested the C pillar spoilt the rear vision, how did you find it?
Smite Down Thank you. From what I understood, Volkswagen is not offering the Scirocco R with 4WD as they want to make sure, that it is placed below the Golf R. From the plattform they could do it with ease though. About the rear vision - it is bad like in any other sport coupe, at least thats my opinion. [Jan]
Hussein Osama Well, the VW Scirocco is based on the VW Golf, so it is a coupe based on a compact car. So you might want to compare it rather to the 2 series coupe or the Mercedes CLA (even that has 4 doors). [Jan]
Nice film and review !!! The Scirocco is a Hairdresser's car and might sell alot more if it was the same performance as the Golf R etc with 4Motion, i'll stick to a 3 door Golf R in Rising Blue with DSG and 4Motion and save money too !!!

Ausfahrt.tv It's quite all right, I'm used to it. I'm Danish. The thing I do not understand is that the Scirocco is just a Golf GTI under its pretty dress, yes? But it's styled to look more aggressive and sporty than the Golf. So why isn't it the faster of the two? I'd love to see VW do 300 bhp rear wheel drive Scirocco. It'd be completely impossible to drive obviously, but I recon it'd be quite fun aswell.
