Was there a notable difference with night time driving? I’m just curious if it would be worth the time and money to upgrade. I’d do this for functionality purposes only. If there’s not much difference I don’t want to waste my time. Your video is super helpful thank you.
Great video! I'm going to attempt this. My wife has a 2016 CRV EX-L so all I'd need is the Depo headlights and the clip kit in the case I break a few clips?
Theres no hyperflash from running all LED's for headlights? I'm going to do headlights and foglights with LED just wanted to know ahead of time. thank you for the video!
hey, I have a quick question. My mom has a 2016 CR-V LX and she doesn't mind missing the DRL. Can I direct replace her LX headlight to touring in that case? We just want the projector type.
I dont recommend changing your lights unless you reeeaaalllyyy need to or your a pro with these plastic car parts. I broken every fastener and 4 tabs on the bumper. I should have just refurbished the lights on the car instead of replacing them. Im so mad at the Honda Engineers for making people go through all this effort to just change the lights. The lights have posts on the corners behind the fenders that break easily. The 6 bumper tabs by the fender all break so easy. I tired to fix them with super glue and tape but if you get the bumper alignment wrong and have to realign it then you’ll just break the tabs again. Its so frustrating. I recommend getting an assistant when you take the bumper off and put it back on. When you put the bumper on start aligning it from the center and find the click in spots behind the grill first. I started from one side and the gaps around the lights by the grill were so bad.
You would have to do the whole facelift. I can show you how. I made a video on how to do it ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AsvnZrhZu2Q.html
@@JackofAllMasterofNone yeah I saw that video and that’s exactly what I plan to do. Also do you know if there’s any way to retrofit a factory heated steering wheel to my car as well?
@@mds2465 I believe you can but it involves a lot of wiring. I've never done it. The wires are not there to do it so Honda used to sell a kit that includes all the harnesses and steering wheel.
@@JackofAllMasterofNone yeah I’m aware of that. I think that one or more of the master Honda technicians at my job might know what I would need to get in order to retrofit those features. I would also like to retrofit side view mirrors with auto dimming glass and winkers if possible as well
