Once again enjoyed the vid , that GoPro camera is great , takes good vids , I need to get one when I get the funds . . . Be safe man , Gregg in California .
Thanks for the video! I'm getting a pcx in a few months when we move to northern Arizona. It will be a step stone bike until I can get a ctx700d. I have nerve damage on my left side, so I have to have an automatic. Once I get the ctx, I'm sure my wife will be using the pcx. Keep safe out there!
Really nice to see a fellow Honda PCX150 owner enjoying his ride . Here in California , I think I'm the only one riding a PCX150 lol . I've seen a couple older versions , and I believe maybe one other person riding a 2015 PCX , but that's it . Everyone else is on motorcycles or smaller scooters .
+Mitch3207 Yeah I see quite a few 50 cc scooters especially the Honda Metropolitans, Ruckus and various Chinese scooters. I also see a few Yami Zuma and Vespa but I don't think I've seen any other PCX on the road that I recall. I'm starting to see more Groms, I had one behind me on a road today for about a mile and I was surprised to see him keep up with me in my car at about 50 mph - I was shocked at how small it looked on the road.
I live in Southern California, a bunch of my friends bought me a pcx 150. This is my eighth scooter that I've owned. I've owned just about every type of motorcycle, I like the twist and scooters. We get to split lanes, in which I do all the time.
Thanks - you will enjoy it - I noticed Honda just recently added the 2017 PCX to their website - no changes except colors - still just 2 but they brought back the Pearl White and added Dark Blue Pearl
Greg, keep up the awesome videos! I have a grey pcx 150 2016, and your videos help me a lot. Suggestion: tips on maintanence of the pcx 150. Thanks a lot!
I really want one of these scooters, this is likely to be the one I will pick (or the Forza). In the area I live in there are not many people, and all the roads have speed limits of 45-55.
Everyone likes the Honda Gram, but this bike has storage and goes faster than the Gram. The only thing about this bike I would change is I wish it had more wider and thicker tires.
Fl drivers are crazy. They don’t think they have a blinker. Still want to go back though. The PCX is kinda pricey for a scooter even used but surely better than a china 150.
I got a Tao Tao quantum 150 is holding up pretty good so far...mine tops out around 50-55mph left stock and just changed engine and gear oil...for a Chinese Scooter it's pretty good and reliable have 750km on it
+Gator Greg yup , you and I Gator Greg have the same model and year white Honda PCX150 scooter . However , here in California it is really dangerous . It's great getting through the heavy traffic , however I find myself more stressed out riding to and from work rather than being enjoyable or fun . Some days I just say screw it and I take my car . People are very reckless here , distracted drivers , cell phones , fiddling with car radios etc . Just never ends . Not to mention the haters . Otherwise I love the scooter lol . Be safe , Gregg in California .
LOL, that lady had no idea you were there. Idiot. You were a little calm I think...because she could have kept going. I don't consider this a close call...just a slow-moving bad driver who gave you lots of time to react. :D
+spacep0d Yeah fortunately I had plenty of room to get out of her way and as I said in the video with the way that road is designed I sort of anticipate people doing that there - in fact if you look closely in my left mirror you can see that the guy in the car to my left-rear during the turn also swung into my lane. I also noticed that you can hear a faint horn just before I hit mine - it almost sounds like it's coming from one of the cars behind me who may have seen the lady creeping into my lane and was beeping to warn me - I don't think it was the lady in the Nissan's horn.
