Excellent editing on this video. You showed and described the process better than any other video I have ever seen. I was looking for a video to show me how to remove the center console so I could replace/remove the cup holders. You did that easily and quick but I was so impressed I watched the whole video. Boy am I glad I have Apple car play standard on my 2020 Tacoma. However I may put it on my wife's 2017 NX. Thanks!!
I just bought a 2016 NX and was banging my head against a wall trying to find an android auto unit. Can't wait for this to come back in stock or an updated wireless one.
Hi Nice demo what's name of the car play? Secondly does it work Android Samsung galaxy note 20 ultra?if not which car play compatible for nx200t 2016 model.
Thank you! The name is Beat-Sonic S-Connect system. Yes it works with the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.

Thanks for the video that confirms I definitely need you combo on my 2016 Lexus NX300h. My problem is I live in France. Do you know if possible to ship in there and I there is a installation near Lyon to get the job well done? Thanks for your help
Im glad i came across this video....do you have a video on switching out the NX200t amp to aftermarket...i can't seem to find any info or alternatives for it and a replacement is outrageous price wise. Please help!!!
Hello, I’ve had this product for the past 3 years or so. Works very well! The only thing is the screen can flicker for 3-5 minutes before CarPlay stays on. The problem is intermittent too. Can you advise what to do?
Simple question, why did you have to remove the drivers side panels? Seems you only need to work on the centre and passenger areas of the Lexus NX? Could it work by skipping removing the drivers side panels?? Thanks!
Does this addition remove the standard features on the original operating system? Interface activates when phone is connected along with standard features? Or do they switch depending if the phone is plugged or not?
This kit does not remove the standard features on the original operating system. By long pressing the home or map button will take you into cp/AA mode. Otherwise your factory controls are exactly the same
What are the Pros and Cons of having this module Versus the Grom Vline 2? I am torn in between these and would like to have some clarification before making a big purchase decision. Both are same price by the way.
1. Is there a way to do this wirelessly? Or at least have the wire tucked in some where closer to the driver side? 2. Can i still use my phone for let's say texting or social media while using apple play?
Unfortunately we only offer a wired solution at the moment. Yes you may tuck the wire closer to the drivers side. Yes you can still use your phone for texting or social media while using carplay
Can you change the UI to snap to the focusable elements instead of a mouse cursor? Seems really dangerous/distracting to have a cursor interface in a car
I need a video on how to operate a wireless apple carplay in my 2016 Lexus nx200t. CarPlay is already installed. But I get no sound when using Apple Maps.
Hi, I bought the mirror kit for my 2013 lexus gs450h. I now have a 2019 lexus RX450HL. Can I use the kit on the 2013 GS450H for the 2019 RX450HL? Thank you!
Question: Hey! Great video. I connected everything but the touchpad the the 3 buttons doesn’t respond. Lexus NX 2016 200t with factory Nav. Any solution for that? The system is seem to be working
Question: Can you control the apple car play with your iPhone? As in when you have the map up on your iPhone, does it also show the map on car play? I am trying to avoid using the trackpad as much as possible.
Yes you can but the carplay screen won’t show until you start the navigation prompt from the phone. As in it won’t move the map screen in real time relative to your phone. However phone mirroring will.
@@BeatSonicUS Thank you for the fast reply! Yes, all I wanted was to be able to use my phone to input the address on my apple map and once I start the navigation on my phone, the apple car play display would have a map that reflects the navigation. Just did not want to use the Lexus Nx Trackpad to input my map destinations.
Usually dealerships won't install aftermarket parts for you. You may however get it installed by a competent local stereo installer. It will take them 2 hours and hourly rates can range from $50 to $150
@@ALBreezyx68 yes this is for sale to the public. Please email us to be placed on the waiting list info@beatsonicusa.com. We can also install the kit for $200 labor fee
Unfortunately since the USB port is made within a hub it will not work. You can however route the USB extension cable to the arm rest. This will require you to drill a hole in the arm rest.
Narendra Polineni You can also get an usb extension and hide the wire under that panel (on the right of the shifter) and route it to that general area where the other USB ports are, without drilling a hole. Did this with with my radar detector.
Wow, I really like your video. I have 2 questions: Do you have anyone in Los Angeles area that have the experience in installing this, I have 2015 Lexus NX300H? Also I like the idea of the USB to be more integrated to the dash instead of hanging, do you have any suggestion where it should be best to be instead of hanging?
Yes, we are located in La Mirada, CA and can do the install for you for $150 for your 2015 Lexus NX300H. You may route the USB to your arm rest compartment, however will require drilling a hole to it.
@@BeatSonicUS late to the party but wanted to ask if you are still offering to install and also where might I buy one? I have a 2016 NX300H that I would like to upgrade.
it is available now, in stock ready to ship: www.beatsonicusa.com/lgvifcb3.html Install and demonstration video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-e_ujR6s-Aio.html
hello, purchase used kit for wired carplay NV17 CP/AA , which was removed from Lexus RX, and as unit description says, this unit is compatible for Lexus NX 2013 - 2017 as well. so I have installed on my 2016 NX, all done smooth thanks to your RU-vid instruction, but I have black screen with system ready message, when I move touchpad, I hear cursor moving trough apps icon (as I understand) but as I sad there is not any image on display, just black screen with system ready. when unit arrives white switches in back side was 1 and 6 on, I did not touch them. could you please help me with this issue? thanks in advance
hello again, here is some details I have received from seller, could please check and help me with system to make it work "Hello, I do not know the lot number but it was installed in a 2019 RX350L. I purchased it in November of 2019, but it was out of stock at the time and I received it 12/27/19 once Beat-Sonic received new stock. That information may help them figure out the DIP switch setting and the exact model of the unit. For installation in my car, I used the youtube Here's the link if you need it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GSs1QF7Z6Vo.htmlsi=ovjm8uiaiRhaH8PS " in addition I believe it was installed on RX350L with NAV and now I trying to install it on NX 200T 2016 (2017 model) base model with NAV. thanks in advance @@BeatSonicUS
I have 3 questions: 1. Do you have a list of installers locally in New York area you can recommend? 2. How do you ship the module? Sounds funny but where I live I have issues with shipments unless it is FedEx, UPS or USPS. 3. Just to make sure this would be for a Lexus NX200T?
I just bought this and everything works fine except the touchpad. It won’t respond when it is on Apple CarPlay mode but when it is on the OEM infotainment screen it does work. Is there something I can do to fix this?
Check the CAN wires to make sure the connection is seated properly. Replug and reseat them. Wire colors should be orange/green. Also reseat connection on both sides of the CAN board as well. Please email us for more technical support info@beatsonicusa.com
1. Can it be installed to European 2015 NX 300h with nav and a cylinder controller (i.e. not a joystick neither a touchpad) 1.1 How the cursor works with this kind of controller? Is it focusing elements or tiny arrow? 1.2 Do you have any demo videos for such or similar inputs? 2. Any local rep around Warsaw, Poland to install the solution? 3. I saw an answer in faq but would like to ask again: is audio always routed through AUX, meaning analog quality? I would like to upgrade my audio by a new amplifier and understand if these two mods are compatible/make sense
How would buttons on touchpad without home or back buttons work? Mine has Menu/Zoom in or out/Map buttons with factory nav whereas car in this demo has Home/Menu/Back buttons.
Menu will work as your Siri button and Map will work as your button to transition from native screen to Carplay screen. Unfortunately you will not be able to use the back function without the back button.
@@BeatSonicUS Eric is my NX300H is for Korean market which has its own navigation program developed in Korea installed instead of Lexus Nav in Enform system. So it access to map via 'Map' button above touch pad instead of going in through Enform. Will it still be compatible with this kit?
JK Chang we would have to review the specifications on how the Korean map is being interfaces with the factory infotainment system. Will you send a demonstration of how your map is working now to info@beatsonicusa.com? Thanks!
Disassembly, install, and re-assembly went great... or so it seemed. After installing unit my radio no longer has power. I disconnected all the pigtails and re-connected all the original cables, but still no power. Logic tells me I blew a fuse but I can't for the life of me find any information on where the fuse is located. I disconnected the battery, joined the + and - terminals and let sit for over an hour to discharge all capacitors and reattached the battery. Still no power to radio. Lexus NX200T F-Sport. Any idea where the fuse(s) for the radio might be located? Google is no help...
Also, whenever I get in the car and first start it up, do I have to make sure it's on AUX every single time? Or can I just plug in my phone, press and hold the home button and call it a day?
Trent Dodson correct. We recommend that if you use it all the time to leave it in Aux before you turn off the car and when you turn the car on again it will start with it being in aux mode.
1. How does dragging (usually swiping on the phone) through the map or other menu items work? Hope you guys can post a video to address this. 2. If I have a FiiO BTR3 DAC wired into my NX through AUX to provide LDAC codec support over Bluetooth (super super clear audio with full EQ and response adjustments), is there any way to maintain it and route sound through that? As my NX currently is, the FiiO handles music/media, and the factory radio handles calls. I understand that the BeatSonic system disables the aux jack. Thanks!
1. Dragging or swiping on the phone won’t have any effect on the factory screen on this system. However you may start navigation routing or play music from your phone which the car’s screen will follow the function. 2. Does your FiiO BTR3 DAC have an aux input? If it does then you can connect the sound to it instead of to our harness.
@@BeatSonicUS Hello and thanks for reply: 1. I should have worded this better. How do I simulate dragging the map via the Lexus touchpad? For example, while driving, I want to see roads beyond what is currently displayed on-screen. 2. No. I was hoping for Android Auto to work through your device but for sound to still be cast via Bluetooth through the FiiO to get the sound processor benefits (why my Bluetooth audio to AUX solution yields better sound than plugging the phone directly into AUX). Is there a separate daisy-chain for the AUX audio (that I can then not install), or are audio and video handled by just one plug?
When in map mode a controller with arrows will appear and you may select those arrows to move the map around instead of dragging. Selecting Bluetooth for sound may be a challenge in Android Auto as I don’t recall that function. If you have a vehicle with android auto you may try to test this as well.
Sam H it’s normal due to the size of the screen. Different sized screens will offer different looks optimized for the screen it is being displayed on. Adjust it to be wider and will sacrifice utilizing the entire screen potential.
Sam H yes volume knob and steering wheel control will continue to change volume. Changing tracks can be done next to your mouse or touchpad using the up and down arrows if you have them or use the seek controls on the carplay screen
@@BeatSonicUS could you please sent the link for me to buy the right item for my car, thank you Note, 2017 rx200t with 360 camera and factory navigation
