Hey that extra glass open in the back is handy when you load it up so things don't fall out and break. I owned two vehichle with and with out. I have never had anything fall out on me with the vehicle with the extra glass opening but the Enclave doesn't open like that and it sucks not having itbecause crap always fall out. So there is some good in it. Stay positive my man.
I completely disagree about the back window. It is useful for long items. Such as surfboards and pipes, wood, etc. Now I know such a long car you can fit that type of stuff inside. But with the smaller wheel base models it is kind of necessary. I like what Toyota does better with the rear sliding window like a door window.
Too bad that the tow capacity is still not certified by SAE J2807. Until it is, the ratings are all just marketing fluff and could put you in danger if reality is exceeded. Otherwise, its a dandy SUV. But I'll buy a J2807 certified SUV instead. Thank You
I like the tail gate design! It's actually a great option! You could haul pipes without you tail gate open. That glass hatch is protected while open by the smaller entrance hole. It gives you more options!
Finally , a storage space for jumper cables and emergency items. Long overdue. Now, how about sliding middle seat tracks ? Design 'em like you have to drive them.
Good honest review. I would have not objected against a more lengthy review. I guess engineers might think the same because I too am a bit torn on whether it's worth 90k USD. I think I would accept the price, but only if proper after market would be available to move the luxury level even up a notch. Straight out of the box might not be it for me.
yeah I agree. But when you've got 3 kids, 2 giant dogs, and travel hockey every weekend...I guess my choices are pretty limited. Range rover, Cayenne, Mercedes GL, etc are too small for my needs. I need room for 2 hockey bags, sticks, dogs, suitcases and all of that ---The yukon xl was a great ride too, but I could not see over dash because of the dash 'hump'- I am very short. Any suggestions?
