I am renting one right now for the week and this is a very nice looking car and very comfy, quiet with good gas for the size! The trunk is big and seats in the rear can be lower down! The only thing I dislike is the power of the engine not enough kicks maybe because its a rental and its been beat up like crazy it could be! Overall if you are not looking for a race car its a very nice car!
Get a Toyota Camry XSE and call it a day. If you aren't going for a more sporty mid-size sedan like the Mazda 6, then get a Camry or a Sonata. Re-sale value and reliability are incredible on Camrys.
Hi from Singapore. This version of Ford Fusion might be the first time we're considering an American car for more bang for buck compared to Japanese competitors like Accord or German competitors Passat.
It's already pushing more than 100HP per liter, which is a LOT of work on the engine. More boost and reduced backpressure will suck a good 1000kms off it's life.
lol You're the first F.F. reviewer I've heard complain about the trunk space. I've driver a 2013 F.F. and plan to get my own some day. The only things I don't like about it are/is the gas mileage. The fact that Ford still didn't upgrade the headlights to HIDs. And that ugly spoiler. (which I know is optional) I don't expect the gas mileage to be as good as a Prius, but I expected it to be better. I know for the type of vehicle it is, it's good enough. But how could Ford mess up the third time around by not even making HIDs an option? Instead of installing HID headlights in the 2015 Fusions, they just put in the same halogen ones from 2005. With all the technology they put into these vehicles. You'd think they'd want you to be safer while driving at night? Just doesn't make sense to me? Oh well? I'm still getting one some day. ( :
It was designed on payday Friday , engineer was eager to head home or going to the bar, Or it wasas designed on Monday morning , still got the hangover from the weekend party!
Yeah I don't like that exterior roof antenna as well. Susceptible to getting ripped off in things like car washes. If Honda can mount their antenna in the back windshield, why can't Ford?
Camerons Car Reviews, the transmission of this car known as 6-Speed Powershift Automatic Transmission with Sport Mode. Backup Camera with Guidance Lines appears when in reverse.
you see how you turned the key to the ON position before turning the engine ON?.. well, when I turn the key to the ON position, the wipers move up/down about an inch.. I have the 2016 SE model.. is this normal for the wipers to move every time the key is set to the ON position?
22/33 mpg? the ford mondeo(Europe's Fusion) fuel consumption is qouted at between 39.2mpg to 30.4 mpg for the same petrol engine range as the US, why the big difference?
Ryan Hong You are correct (US gal lqd =UK gal * 1.2009), I have only ever encountered gallons on vists to Britain and US, and I always assumed they were the same.
BOTH are necessities today, you wouldn't want to take a girl for a ride without a push to start button!! I'm SURE you can find a car with both, it's becoming common, especially in Ford's look at the new Mustang...
joe scerra Push to start hands down. Just because that's what you will use majority of the time over parking assist and I think paying the extra for Push to start is the best investment over parking assist. Specially when you use push to start every time you get in the vehicle. Its just a better investment.
