The civic Si gets so much unwarranted hate. Enthusiasts should be completely enamored with a sporty car (albeit underpowered in its class) that is consistently reliable and fun. Put a turbo in this, which I believe they are doing, and you'll have less reliability. I'll take it as is. Great review!
Loving it! I drive these little demons as often as I can. And you should see the smile on my face when my clients come in for an Si Demo Drive. It's a little...frisky.
Brian Makse Actually...that's sort of a part of the conversation we had the other day. I did a ride-a-long for a couple laps in an Si on the Indy track. Blew...my...MIND!
I have a 2015 Si Sedan, and I'm really happy it. I like the two-tier gauge cluster well enough, but I'm honestly not totally in love with the shifter. I like it quite a lot, but sometimes the throws feel a bit long and the spacing seems odd. Otherwise the engine is fantastic and it handles incredibly well. It's hard to find the car's limits on public roads. At $23k, it's an excellent buy. It's great for bolting around town, and it's always ready and willing to be unleashed at a moment's notice. P.S. Great video. It looks great, and unlike some other reviewers, it sounds great too.
Just want to say, this video was one of the contributing factors to me pulling the trigger on a 2015 sedan Si. It is hands down the best car I've ever owned. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction!
not all your viewers are in other countries as well maybe you could say both liters per 100km and regular mpg in future videos so we dont have to look up conversion charts would be helpful. cheers
They told me at the dealership that it only comes in sport shift. Well thanks for bringing that to my atention. I'm going to go let them have it and show off my new si
now i got 22.4 i looked it up before your comment i didnt know there was 2 different gallons learn something new everyday i ve never been out of the states so thats y i dont know theese things so thats worse yet. man thats not as good as i thought it would be in a honda
1:27 Did you say "my old race car" or "mild race car"? Sorry I haven't watched your channel before. Production values are just excellent on this video, bravo. :)
Great review! Pretty spot on. I've had my 2015 Si Coupe for the past 7 months and I still love driving it! So much fun and surprisingly practical for day to day use!
Brian M: I thought the joke about u being able to drive anything with just yr feet was common knowledge but I'll take the post down. Have a better day. Meant nothing negative by my comment 🍻
Brian thanks for the reply and well you got me on that question cause i am pretty sure is not going to be the gallon we get from the grocery store (milk) but i actually looked it up and it would be the US Gallon which is defined as 231 cubic inches (3.785 l). I do appreciated cause now i know the UK uses a different metric which is call (imperial gallon) true story. 😀
Yeah, and I live downtown in the middle of a city with a population of 6 million. My driving is stoplight to stoplight for the most part, save for those times when I get out of town.
Love the video but the "10. Something liters per a hundred Kilometers" i mean really? I know is ignorant from me not to know what it means but why not use the regular mpg metrics. Lol!
+Cody Snell Google is your friend. Don't forget to make sure you reference the American and not the Imperial gallon. As well, I have to mention that the rest of the world uses L / 100 km.
ok.... thanks.....I live in america we use gallons and american measurements of mostly everything . like disatance lol its miles and fluid is quarts and gallons. mpg is what i used my whole life and 27 miles a gallon isnt really that good were u running it hard or just driving it easy cause i thought it would at least get 30 mpg i have cars that are 25 year old 4 cylinders that get that mpg and i dont baby them everywhere could get 30 plus if i did
I was under the impression this was a review of a 2016 Civic Si. The car in this video is either a 14 or 15! So why is the amerikan man talking about it? I know the Civic Si is a good car, but I want to know about the 2016 Civic Si.
+George McKean The 2016 Civic Si isn't even a thing yet. This is our 2016 Civic first drive review: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Epno5xtwlMg.html. Also, I'm not American or amerikan or whatever you meant to type.
@@DisplayDriver Yes, it will matter whenever you’re driving the car hard on a twisty road. The ST is a different animal. Less refined, more raw; much smaller, cheaper and louder inside. I’d love to have one but not as my only car.
planning to get this car i hope still can find the color i want BTW just got back from an autoshow and they said they will be releasing a hunchback honda in the usa
