This girl is that one annoying girl that's at every car show and meet that acts like she knows about cars..... Yeah because the shift indicator light gives you more power....,
Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk quick question since you work at the dealer do you know the new civic si if you put it in sport mode can the dealer void your warranty?
I think the Civic is a car aimed at young people , bold design and tonic engine ( the most known Civic sold here in Europe is the Type R model ) . The dashboard is intricate and bold but not ugly , it' s like inside a cockpit . Sounds great .Honda designers know how to seduce .
Does this car require lots of maintenance other than regular oil changes and stuff? A Honda salesman told me it does need require lots of maintenance, but I don't believe it.
You only need oil changes bro. Honda is super reliable. My brother had a 89 CRX Si, 06 Civic Si, I have a 07 Si, My cousin has a 13 Si. All super reliable. Very low maintenance. I mean, come on. Its a honda! My car is running strong at 100k. All ive done is change spark plugs and oil changes.
I bought a 96 civic dx in 2004. It had 186k miles on it (I worked at a Chevy and Dodge dealer)and I paid $3500 for it. All the people at work thought I was nuts and they told me the car was worn out and would fall apart. Well, I put in 2 CV axles, Radiator and did tune ups and oil changes. Needless to say I hit 405k miles and it was still going strong. Honda is one of the most reliable without breaking the bank car you can buy. I swear by them. Ohh Btw I would mention I hit 350k miles on my car to people at work and they would shake their head in disbelief at how reliable it was with that many miles. lol
brad h Hello Brad; Thanks for asking. We have many clients in their 40s, 50s and even 70s driving the Si. The quality of Honda is unmatched, the re-sale value is awesome and it's a blast to drive, how can you go wrong. Nothing weird that we can see.
Helllloooooooo nurseeeeee! -=o) Very cool reviews, informative and straight to the point. This is a bit random but you look and sound albanian haha Don't worry its a great thing! Keep up the good work sweetheart
Laura which civic si did you like diving more the 17 or this one. Was this one better because you didn’t need the sport button to have the full 205 hp or was the 17 better with the turbo trying to see which is better to buy Thanks
Hey Cjg1987 thanks for chiming in! I really like both the cars but if I had to choose I would go with the 17. They both have comparable power but with the 17 when you hit the sport button the steering and the suspension tightens which I really like a lot. That matched with the carplay and redesign of the body make the car more appealing to me. Don't get me wrong the 15 definitely rips though. - Laura
gbo123 I agree! We're waiting for the 2016 Honda HR-V and the 2016 Honda Pliot. We should have a few more videos soon, meanwhile I'm enjoying sunny Aruba ;)) Honda Laura
Very nice. I forgot what snow was. Glad I don't have to take it off my car. Very little here in Southern Calif. How about another with the Accord. Polar bear club optional.:>
i got rid of my Blue 14' Civic Si sedan for a 15' Nissan Pathfinder...I loved it but it wasnt designed for commuting into downtown manhattan and especially during winter months with all the potholes I got 3 flats in less then a year. Plus it was a little too small.
jtorres1486 Big change! We wish you happy miles with the Pathfinder. Blue is a great color in the Si, we wish we could have purchased it :( Honda Laura
I bought the black sedan si 2015 for 15,000$ and 40,000 miles that’s a pretty good deal right? It’s actually the exact car your driving in this review so thanks 😁. Btw I wish more girls I knew drove Manuals much respect 💪🏾
Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk oh yeah it’s perfect for me right now. What I like most about it is the mix of power,v-tech, handling and being a very safe car with a sporty look.
Jonah Leon Thanks Jonah! Sorry it took so long some how the comment just appeared. I drive an Acura TSX and I love it. The Si is a ball to drive too. Don't forget to subscribe. :) Honda Laura.
I need some advice. Between the honda civic si (probably the sedan) and the mazda 3, which one would you prefer? I have to buy a car in a few months and im looking for a fun to drive car but also a practical daily driver. Oh yes and i prefer manuals :)
Thankyou very much Laura. Would you recommend any other car that fits my requirements? I dont wish to spend over $27k and im looking at something really fun, has a nice interior, practical and reliable
Boosted4BangerRacing Yes we leave the bloops in. Sometimes I have little freeze ups or I do make mistakes. It's nice being human and watching humans. Thanks for the feedback Boosted, subscribe will ya!
I saw your review for the Accord V6 coupe as well..I know there is a significant difference in the HP and the torque, but which one do you feel drivers better? This is offc assuming you have driven them both. Any feedback will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. PS: keep the videos coming (Good Job)
One of the best cars I ever owned was a '91 CRX Si 5M. Pure driving enjoyment, no power steering - didn't need it. I think A/C was the only option. Great little car.
+Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk I often fantasize about what car I'd purchase if I got a job where I had to do the reverse commute out of Manhattan. The Si would certainly be on the list. My default was usually Volvo back when I had to have a vehicle, but I think I'm past that phase. Love your reviews.
Noor elahi Islam Not sure. It was a great car for the money but very expensive to produce. Honda has lots of great product now and many more on the way soon i.e. Type R Civic and a new Civic Si in 2016. :)) Honda Laura
I taught my son how to drive a few years ago on an automatic. After he had the basics and completed some of his driving classes with the instructor I took him to the local high school on a weekend and let him learn to drive manual on my 96 civic dx. For about an hour I would have him start from a stop, get up to 10 mph then stop and redo it. I explained while he might think it was repetitive, that is one of the toughest things to learn with stick. After the lesson I had him drive home on city streets 3 miles. Did one more stick lesson (About 30 mins stop and go) then had hime drive about 30 miles on back roads etc. He joined the Army and is now stationed and I helped him out and he just bought a 2015 civic si coupe with the manual and he told me thanks for teaching him stick.
