What was expected : - Bigger Wheels. - Hard Top (as option). - Front facing rear seats. - Front power windows. - Large rear glass windows(part of hard top). - Softer gearshift. you can get these things added aftermarket as an extras but factory fitted kits are always better, mahindra customize don't offer a lot of them. What is nice : - Diffrential lock (4x4). - Dashboard (coz you don't want much as its a blue off roader). Its a good thing mahindra has yet not slammed that stupid signature grille on THAR.
hello team, i have a doubt regarding diesel engines , i heard that we should use it regularly otherwise it is not good for engine.the thing is that i am going to bye a thar ,i am not a huge traveler, my 6 month travel will be 4000 km,is it ok for a thar engine?
I believe the THAR has a transfer case and no center diff. what are the advantages of a lockable center diff as opposed to a simple transfer case in the gypsy and thar?
mahindra has been assembling 'Jeeps' since the 1940s on license and so this is a continual iteration. I might even say it keeps the tradition of the original jeep better by being a bare bones rugged off roader. these things also have a long tradition
TO ALL: it is an obvious Jeep CJ7 clone, which Jeep ceased production of in 1985 or 1986. It is not licensed by Jeep (Chrysler) today. At that time, Jeep was owned by AMC. AMC is defunct now , probably why Mahindra copied the CJ7, less chance for a lawsuit. I didn't say they copied a new Jeep. Look up the CJ7 and tell me it isn't similar!
William Chemini Get your facts straight man. Mahindra was licenced to produce jeeps from 1947. the vehicles they produced had good quality. the jeep is producing grocery getter cars now.Mahindra is producing good offroad vehicles
