I am pretty sure that the fuel filter has a life time warranty and it's inside the fuel tank, dosn't need to be changed. But to make 100% sure just call your local spare shop give them the registration and they will tell you. If you want Al find out for you and let you know
Toyota used exactly the same Mobil 1 0w-20 Oil that cost about €40 per 5 L. any 0W-20 full synthetic oil are good. I took Mannol for €26 for 5L and it is approved even by BMW and VW which have 20k Km Oil change interval. For filter, Bosch is pretty cheap €5 and probably have better built than OEM Toyota from china. Total cost of €45 is way cheaper than Dealer asked for €189. Other shop like ATUs charged about €90 for Oil change but I do not trust them for anything but tire repair.
Bought the tool which is a 64.5 mm wide 14 flutes, However, does not fit my 2011 Auris. Tool does not engage fully in the oil filter casing and unable to remove. Any suggestion? Thanks
Not 100% sure but I think it is. I think only difference is that on the Hybrid its a plastic oil filter cap and on the 1.8 it's a metal cap but tool should be the same.
All 1.8 liter engines with the cartridge system use the same wrench. But larger engines use one that's a bit bigger where the teeth on the wrench are located. When you go to buy the parts just give them the Registration of your vehicle, they should give you the right oil. Please dont go and buy engine oil from supermarkets, not good
