Don't mind them clever clogs, who think they have to get hung up on the word 'hidden'! Some people just have too much time on their hands and choose to waste it on useless things. You, on the other hand, choose to use your time to help others. I much prefer that kind of attitude. I found these instructions very helpful. 👍🏼😉
Because they are not immediately displayed unless you search for them, ergo hidden. Hidden until you display them, at which point your original menu then becomes hidden. They are not secret, they were always there, your owners manual even tells you about them
I'm happy that you've read the car manual..These features are not hidden by the car manufacturer. Video is okay, the but proper title would be "Vauxhall Astra J Dashboard Menu features"
I recently bought an astra j 2010 and it does not show any of these and even after pressing menu it only shows "unit 1 and unit 2" Which basically changes the temp reading from F to C
I’ve got a 2013 model. Mine is different to this, but I have similar options using a combination of the menu but, up down arrows and the button on the end of the same stalk 👍🏻
On the left hand stalk there is a rotary control with an up and down arrow on it. Rotate this and you will get a choice of 3 menu's. One of them has the speed indication on it (along with distance left before needing to refuel and instant mpg)
My astra j 2010 has a camera in the front glass, near the mirror system. I don't know where this camera is needed. Can anyone tell me? The car has also raining and light sensors for auto lights and wipers.
There is also a hidden feature on your smartphone... If you swipe down the screen from your homescreen.... Boom! You'll find toggles to turn your wifi on and off .... Impressive right?
