Unser Nachbar arbeitet in einem VW - Autohaus und hatte gestern mal einen Polo mit 90 PS und DSG als Vorführer bei sich daheim und hat mir angeboten, diesen zu testen. Die 90 PS in Verbindung mit dem DSG haben sich nach deutlich mehr angefühlt. Begeistert hat mich die Ruhe im Auto und die wirklich hervorragende Verarbeitung. Das Infotainment ist auch ein Traum, obwohl ich eher ein Fan vom I-Drive - Konzept bin. Was mich zum Schluss noch absolut vom Hocker gehauen hat, waren die LED - Scheinwerfer bei Dunkelheit. Die hätte ich am liebsten sofort gegen mein Halogendreck getauscht. Ich muss ja sagen, dass die Bi - Xenons in den Autos meiner Eltern (Skoda Yeti und Skoda Octavia 2) hervorragend sind, aber die LED´s des Polos toppen diese nochmal. Das Licht ist deutlich heller und somit noch natürlich. Die Seitenausleuchtung war ebenfalls brilliant und über das Fernlicht braucht man gar nicht reden. Für mich als Überlandfahrer ein absolutes Must to have.

Same for me! I just don't know about that engine sound, but I hope that by the time I'm able to buy it, there will be some decent options available. I think there is no other car in this class that's even close to Polo by all standarts!
Sven Czyborra Yeah, I could accept that Polo is not powerful enough and that it's even not that fun to drive (unless you get yourself a Blue GT version), but I just can't resist it's natural beauty and always a superb German quality.
Max Nits powerful depends on what you need or what you are used to, and in my opinion this car is somewhat fun to drive But i know what you mean And to the rest of you comment I completely have to agree with you!
haha wollte ja die Leuchten hinten zeigen alles was da es hat, also habe mich Rückwärtsgang eingelegt ( Automatik) und wollte nur Rückwärts licht zeigen ohne Bremslicht, habe bremse so gelöst aber handbremse ist angezogen, darum ging das auto nach oben also er wollte rückwärts fahren, da hat er kraft darum ging hoch wegen den angezogene handbremse, sorry meine grammatik :D
Mein Favorit beim nächsten Autokauf. Und Du meinst, 110 PS wären zu wenig? Wie sieht es mit der sogenannten Elastizität aus. Will sagen, ich bin ein kleiner Schisser beim überholen auf Landstraßen. Der Wert 0-100 ist mir nicht so wichtig, wichtiger ist mir, ob er von 80 auf 120 auch noch gut zieht. Wie siehts da aus? Danke!
Steffen Sabath Wenn du auf Landstraßen ein kleiner Schisser bist, sprich, dass du wirklich erst überholst, wenn du dir wirklich sicher bist, dürften sogar die 90 PS in Kombination mit dem DSG, welche ich gestern fahren durfte, vollkommen ausreichen. Ich fahre einen Citigo mit 75 PS und wenn man hier mal richtig runterschaltet, was ich beim Überholen prinzipiell mache, kann man locker überholen, insofern der Überholte keine Scheiße baut. Auch wenn du mit 110 PS im Polo fährst, wirst du nicht riskanter überholen. Ähnlich war es bei mir. Ich fuhr den Skoda Octavia 2 meines Vaters mit 140 Diesel - PS und DSG. Auch hier war ich eher zurückhaltend, auch wenn man hiermit nochmal angenehmer überholen kann.

I have to say that your video is PERFECT when we are on the project to buy a new car: long video, motor noise, interior/exterior zooms, no blabla or fucking music :):) I have a question, and maybe you could answer: In France, until last month, the "Rline" was just a package of options (in polo 2015) related to the interior (seats, steering Wheel...) but in September we will be able to order a real "Rline polo", with specific bumpers, diffusors, and of course specific sporty interior. Do you know if your Rline in your video is 100% similar to the new 2015 Rline polo that will be available in France and others european countries? Thanks!
docteurgreene of course, that exterieur with specific bumpers should have in frace soon, but if you want buy now you can buy in germany and import to france, is maybe cheaper? :)
What I can’t get over is that the R-line polo only has 110hp? The BlueGT has considerably more and yet is less in your face with the bodywork. I’ve driven a polo TSI 90 and with the extra weight it was barely faster than my current car which is a 60hp UP. The 110hp polo seems a bit weak to have R branding... but that’s just my opinion.
I have one, well, the 2014 pre facelift r-line with 105 bhp… and honestly, as much as I still adore the look of this car as much as the day I bought it - the car does feel too underpowered to be badged up like it is. The only good thing about that is that it's a factory thing, at least we didn’t badge it up like that ourselves lol.
mistersz front/rear bumper. Glossy black some place in dashboard. Nice pedals. Make your own. Buy a polo and modify with interior and exterior you like
there is a ecu electronic downsizing the power of the engine. I have the same car and I remaped the ecu now I have 140 hp! The engine block is the same so no much risk...
Volkswagen Polo GTI may get 220 Kms.h easily; Volswagen Polo BLue GT is difficult that got 220 KMs. h. but Volkswagen Polo 1.2 TSI R-Line can´t got 220 Kms.h. !nor downhill!. Good night.
+José Ramón this car is very safe now with sport tyre etc, new cars with new technology are more safe with high speed, trust me, i did test over 100 cars.
