leeroyrivera2010 there is no harness, you have to buy the whole new taillight

Hey man, I just got these and got them installed correctly. However, when I actually put the turn signal on after about three clicks it starts blinking faster and only half of the bar comes on. Do yours do this as well or are mine defective?

Robert Montano mines do that also, not all the time but it does happen once in a while . If yours is doing it a lot I say you contact them and tell them your problem.

I might be late on this, but you need the harness to convert it to an rs for the lights to work. I’m assuming you have a base model

We were hoping that we could, but these new tail lights have complete new internals and the entire lights will have to be replaced.

@@michaelj5748 Old tail lamps can be upgradeable, or anybody know any method to solve my problem? Mine is light up sequential amber turn signal for one moment, if i push brake pedal.

LT models are not equipped for LED lighting. They require an LED harness with Resistors to stop the Hyperflash

We show the brake function that does not show the signals while braking at 10:07 , but I can send you some quick videos on Instagram/Email if you would like of any other function. You will also need the Non-RS to RS Tail Light harness for the LT model for these to work correctly.

@@NextGenSpeed Thanks for the quick reply. I would be grateful if you could provide me a video where you show the turn signals on and then apply the brake while they are still on. Also, if you could show a video of the brakes on and then turning on the turn signals, that would also be great. That would calm a lot of people and would probably lead to a spike in sales! I know of a couple of threads where people are waiting for this information!

@@NextGenSpeed I'm disappointed to see that your initial quick reply (to manage damage control?) hasn't yet progressed to actually fulfilling your promise of quickly answering my concerns and the concerns of many other consumer. People report that hitting the brake while the turn signals are on causes the turn signals to reset on aftermarket turn signals. Holding the brake and then turning on the turn signals with the brakes still on seems like it could cause a similar problem for the brake lights turning off? Maybe you have fixed it, but I was hoping you could alleviate these fears before I purchase.

I have a 2018 RS camaro and im having this same issue where everythings works perfect except that stutter it does when i apply the brake and then the turn signal. If you figured out the issue, let me know! thanks

Yes that is correct. The harness needs to be connected to the Third Brake

just get resistors i installed them for 13 bucks way cheaper than harness

Yes it is required. From our tests the brake lights will not function correctly without it

@@NextGenSpeeddo you know what exact malfunctions occur if they are not installed with the harness wire? I don’t think I’m getting I’m getting any problems, my concern is because I don’t want to remove the back trunk piece because the little caps holding the big piece are hard to remove and easily break when removed

No these have resistors to stop any hyperflashing issues

Red wire is required to give the Tail Lights the brake signal

@@kebirbro6638 yes, the car battery, replaced with a new one and it drained too. I havent had a problem since i uninstalled the lights.

Project ZL1 This happens because the factory Camaro Tail Lights use the outer brake light as the turn signal. This causes the brake & signals to activate together one cycle, when the brakes are pressed. The only way to eliminate it was to tap into the third brake light
