Could you use the 2016 zl1 bumper kit with the DRL’s fog lights that comes with it on the 2016 Camaro ss? I want to keep the DRL’s to give it the full ZL1 look
I have same thing you have but I'm having a problem with my drls color they was working color changing but stopped working now drls are just white..(does the drls main hot go to an ignition or always hot) is the issue im having.. halo rings around main headlight works great all colors!! Only drl colors no color but standard color. 😎👍
Ignition power will only allow you to turn the lights on when the ignition is on, but they'll also turn off when you turn the car off. If you wire always hot, then the lights can be turned on by your phone anytime regardless of if it on being on or off. The DRLs only being white is probably an issue with the control module either not being connected to your phone properly or the ground could be poorly connected.
Haven't had any issues from the customer, you can wire it up either through ignition power or battery power. Ignition power would keep it from drawing any power when the vehicle is off, but you won't be able to use the lights without the key on
I have a v6 2018 and got the zl1 drl boards it works fine and everything but the amber turn signal aint working it’s just the regular turn signal ?? And were they supposed to put back on the fog light driver back on ? I got back the fog light drivers ?
There's a small plug on the back of the headlights that plugs into itself, be sure those are unplugged to have the sequential blinkers. As to your 2nd question, I'm not sure what you're trying to ask. If you mean reinstall the fog light driver, you can but don't have it plugged into the light inside, use it just for sealing the lightbox
Just installed these over the weekend, they don't turn on automatically when I drive, I have to turn them on manually. Did I tap into the wrong wire? I did the blue one on the passenger side like you did
It seems that alot of people are having issues with these lights although they do the same as in our video. I'm starting to think there is an issue with the product. Your goal is to have the control module triggered power through the DRL circuit, and the box main power through either ignition power or battery+
I need help. How do I contact u to talk? Everything works fine. But once I start the car, I lose control of the color change. White wires r not hooked up. Blue wire is to the battery
I did. The guy was stupid. Absolutely no help. When I got the unlock button, they work. Once I start the car they don't. Thinking maybe I lose power once the car is started. Maybe I have to manually turn the headlights on. Gonna go try that
Do u hook both the ballasts up (in the back of the headlights) after installing? I know u don't reattach the one in the fog lights. But u never said about the headlights?
The glue Chevy used to hold the lenses together won't melt. The plastic housing will melt before the glue does :/ It's best to cut the lense off, it'll also reduce the risk of cracking the plastic
