This product looks pretty nice. Can you please let me know what makes the beat-sonic adapter a better choice than others i hear about like Navix or Grom. Every installer ive talked with has one in particular they partner with. Thank you!
Our kit has been approved by Lexus USA to be available at Lexus Dealerships across the US. Our kit is the only kit that routes all audio to the car’s Bluetooth for the best sound quality. You may even connect to the car’s usb directly for better sound. In addition, our wireless connection time is only 6 seconds and faster than the time it takes for the Lexus system to fully load. Ours is also the most reliable and trusted in the marketplace
Thank you. do you think someone with no installation experience (Me) could install this myself? I am concerned about damaging something during the process.
Just curious, is there a reason that niether the beatsonic nor other aftermarket systems are able to use the oem haptic feedback, and snap/focus the cursor to specific items on the screen? I feel like that would be helpful in reducing the distraction of having to precisely move the cursor without any feedback while driving.
If I take my car to the dealership, is there any worry of them hurting the system when servicing the car? / If they do a system check would they accidentally reset anything?
There’s nothing to be concerned about taking your car to the dealership with our kit installed. They won’t know it’s installed. Also no risk of resetting anything
Sound quality is exactly the same as factory since we now route all the audio to the car’s Bluetooth. You may even connected wired directly to the car usb and select IPOD on the car audio source for better audio quality
Does this use the factory microphone? I saw that it has a microphone connector but I didn’t see you mount it. Also, when the car goes in reverse does the camera automatically switch? Really thinking about purchasing one for my GS.
Yes this uses the factory microphone. And the reverse camera will show when you put your vehicle to reverse gear from either carplay screen or oem screen
If I am buying a 2016 Lexus GS350 that has a broken radio console, can I replace it with an apple CarPlay console? Or do I need to fix it and then add the apple car play?
Can i use your older model for Apple car play and make it wireless in other words add to it to make it wireless or do I need to buy a whole new kit ? I have the older model to this but want to make it wireless
Be gentle with the display screen. The clear plastic cover alone costs almost $500 (and that was 28% below msrp). And the black frame trim piece is $71. I looked for used options and all I could find was the entire display unit and the cheapest I found was $650.
This system won’t work with RU-vid as apple and google won’t allow it in their carplay and android auto systems but this works to watch RU-vid www.beatsonicusa.com/if04ep.html/
