Beautiful car, Audi excellence at it's highest, this "estate" in it's performance package is nearly as fast as an R8!!!!! and way more practical to boot(pardon the pun lol). Nice video Peter most enjoyable.
If I won the Lotto I would be straight off to my local Audi dealership and order a RS6 Performance fully loaded without any concern or worry this is a weapon to piss off more expensive sports cars and the smiles per mile would be buckets. LOL
Petrol Ped Merry Christmas to you and your family. I have to wonder how much is to much and when will they put the breaks on Bhp for road cars it's a great car but in the wrong hands it's a killer. Many drivers would not have the driving experience to handle the utter power of this German monster. As you say this is a family estate it just blows my mind when you see RS you now it's a business car full stop.
Hi petrol ped....brilliant review as ever, but how do you rate the comparison to this rs6 and the mitsubishi evo 10 fq 400 ? You reviewed some time ago, Thanks
Very different. Both great in there own way. The RS6 is clearly a more up to date car and certainly one I would use everyday. The Evo was a very special car but I would have one as a special weekend car.
just a bit of i guess a tip, you need to alter the volume on the backing track and the vocals , because the backing track nearly makes what you say hardly audible
I always wanted one of these until I drove one. Although it’s a fantastic looking car, rides and handles well, the downside is that the interior tech hasn’t aged well and the switchgear looks a bit tired, but the main issue - when you brake all that extra weight shows itself. It’s also not as brutally quick as reviewers make out. It’s still fast by modern standards but actually doesn’t feel that exciting from the driver’s seat. Good cars but the running costs put me off taking a punt on one.
Quentin Thomas You are paying for the performance Quantin. Totally mind blowing for a family estate. I like the fact that lots of people will look at it and not realise what's under the bonnet 👍
Quentin Thomas I probably has the residual properties of a rock dropped into a swimming pool 😎 Starting to work on the new Discovery. I think it looks stunning. I've got the new JCW Mini Hatch next weekend.
There is one BIG downside to the RS6 - once you have driven one it ruins every other car! The RS6 is just something else as far as fast estates go. Probably a good thing the test drive was only short as it would have been difficult to let go of if it was longer!
I recently had a 20 minute test drive in a non-PE RS6 and was blown very surprised how well it handled and the torque was just immense! I kinda regretted buying my 2015 RS4 after that test drive as the RS6 was an improvement in every area over the 4.
I don't like the music starting at 0:42. Also your voice becomes really strange, like a really bored person reading from a brochure, quite different from your normal speaking tone. I'm not hating, just honest. I do like your other videos though.
nphung01 Thanks for being so honest. I'm always striving to improve so I'll take those comments on board. Especially the voice over. I only do that if I have very limited time with the car. I'll up the energy next time 👍 I quite like the music 😜
Maybe people can argue about cars like this...they are totally unnecessary, have silly fake exhaust sounds, consume fuel like thirsty camels, cost half the state budget of a small African country and so on and so on... It doesn't matter.... When a man hammers the throttle having that grin in his face, like a three year old child seeing an ocean of chocolate...you know one thing... The car is spectacular, and no matter what reasonable people say... The need to have factor is total... Who gives the sh*t about being reasonable in that machine???
