I agree the 2016 BMW RR is the best bike money can buy. Its perfect german engineering. Looks absolutely stunning too! I hate the name though, it should be called BMW HP4 Phantom.

It's 2024 and i just bought an 2010 s1000rr... And i must say, i was very nervous before riding it... As soon i drove off the sellers house, i felt an inexplicable sense of security... The first ride home was by far the best since every aspect of the bike felt new to me..... Definetly one of the best driving experiences i had my whole life !!! 10/10, would buy another one if i had the money XD

Totally agree with you! Just switched from the 2010 to the 2016 model and I have the same feel as you! 2010 feel much more lively and "scary", but the 2016 is definitely a much better and easier-to-ride bike :) Love the midrange of the 16
@@jorgezx6r 2015+ s1000rr or a hp4. not really worth getting the pre 2015 model unless it's hp4. Raw bikes are nice on something that is bit smaller and slower but a 1000cc with 190+hp is not the type of thing you want to be raw to the core. som tech is good to have and does increase performance and comfort. like you can't have a bad back if you spend most of your cruising with cruise control on and stretching your back. no Mather what 1000cc sport bike you get you will enjoy it and it will scare you. so if you are going to enjoy the bike no Mather which one you get i find it better to just get the one that has the best tech.
Crazy just watched your 2010 review I didn’t know there was that much difference between them. I was looking at a 2010 but now I want to get a 15 or 16
i’m curious if you’d still call the 2016 synthetic today. your gripes with the 2016 is what people say about the 5th gen s1000rr. so i wonder if you compared a 2023 and a 2016 if you’d say the opposite about the 2016 given the context.

@@Sickling3 There is a current recall for the fuel pump I think. Free fix if taken to a dealer. But as long as you keep it maintained, it'll last you for a good while. It will be more expensive to keep up than a Japanese bike. But it's worth it in my opinion. The Gen 1 S1000's are also slowly getting fewer in number. Take care of it for sure

Ok now can you speak on the difference In exhaust because I noticed the 2016 had the full fairing and now I see some stock bikes with the same setup does this come stock with a straight pipe. I’ve seen some stock s1000rr’s same model year only difference huge catalytic converter or same as in video longer fairing
@@rmonified I always had a smooth Japanese inline 4. Right now I have the S1000R which I think is pretty close to the RR. Thank you for the quick response.
Now. 6 years Later, i feel the exact same. I just hate the new 2023/24 s1000rr. Its like a girlsbike with no Sound and just to smoth. Im heading to get a 2015/16 Euro3 s1000rr because thats whats "raw" enogh for me as im atm riding an 2005 cbr600rr which i perhaps will Keep as a second bike for street and for some trackdays. Funny how time fades and how the New bikes Making the "old New" bikes (as the 2016) raw again😂
I haven't ridden a 2012 so I can't really say for certain. But judging that it's in the same generation as the 2011, I'd imagine it's absolutely fantastic.

MrRUSINA that was the point haha. I made these videos for me and my riding buddies, they're also fans of RCR and they loved em. The fact that these videos have gotten any kind of attention outside of my circle is just, oh well. Also. Look up Sequelitis by Egoraptor. Bit of an influence from those videos as well.
