My 2022 is at the shop right now getting its 18k service. I bought the maintenance package when I bought my bike it was $1500 at the time. Glad I did the 18k service was around $2200. Valve checked, fork oil replaced, spark plugs replaced, oil change, and whatever else they do to it. Never had one issue out of this bike and it’s been BrenTuned stage 2, full exhaust, Sprint air filter since first service at 600 miles. I change my oil every 3000 miles. The dealership does it at 6,000 so I do it also between that. 4 quarts and a filter last time I changed it was $106 from the dealership. This bike has been great.
100% bro they are beautiful bikes!! No wonder why everybody sells there S1K at around 15,000 miles they don’t want to pay that $2,200 fee🤣😭I’m gonna have a different shop that I trust do that to make that $2,200 bill turn into $1k dealerships are crazy price gouging
Brother, im 33, and im picking up a 2024 S1krr in red as well. It puts great confidence that youve had no problems with the bike whatsoever. Maybe I'll start a YT for s* and giggles. Thanks man!
Great and Informative video bro and amazing bike and what you did whit her. I hope one day ill get one, still i need to work more on my savings. Best gratz and keep it up🫶🏻
Damn I paid about that for my Full Six bellypan for my R1M,do they mal a full bellypan for this S1 ? Absolutely beautiful bike, thinkin about gettin one but deciding on what bike to get still.Stay safe keep the vids comin 🙏🏼👊🏼
@@s1kdk hell yeah man I’m pumped. Already have my titanium headers picked out. Silly salesman tried to get me onto a GSX-8R a GSX-S1000GT, and a black 2023 S1000RR with carbon wheels 😂 I special ordered a passion red one instead. Bought the Alpine Stars Supertech R10 helmet. I’m so psyched to ride before winter.
@@modelotime2456 it’s amazing. So smooth and so quick even in breaking mode. Still need another 190 miles before I can get it unlocked at the dealership. Been busy with my daughter and work but man it’s a blast to ride.
Dog is like - oh, my dude talking to his bike again I better stay out. 😂 Your S1K looks sick though! I can’t decide to get the white one or red. Ride safe!
Damn…time for sure does fly by…(the only problem is that it hit a window) yesterday it was SUMMER, I miss last year summer😢 I’m for sure this summer is gonna be just as good if not better, especially with great vids from this amazing channel
I personally don’t know anybody in that age range that daily’s it, however I’ve heard in my RU-vid comments that they do. The oldest man I’ve seen on a sport bike was 50ish on a Hayabusa!
Yes if they aren’t going 60+ they get hot, if it gets anywhere above the 225 mark on a regular basis I suggest you bring it to the dealer and have them look at the water pump. If you have a 2024 keep an eye on the “weep hole” it’s at the bottom of the oil pan by the back it’s a tinyyyyy little hole that leaks coolant if the water pump is going bad, it is a common issue with 2023+ S1Ks that is fully covered under warranty:)
Yo, do me a favor, please change your rearsets! Most replace the current pegs and shifter etc and there are no adjustment or anything. I did woodcraft (because they provide overnight service if you are at a track and go down) and it's SO much better since I'm a bit short. Way more comfort. And as long as you get mostly blacked out ones and not the BMW ones (with blue) it looks much better. If you get a decent torque wrench and blue to lock in the bolts you can do it yourself and then have dealer bleed off the rear brakes to get any air out of it. Woodcraft is only about $600 or you can get Italian ones for 1k. Good to see you still going strong man.
@@s1kdk Also, if you haven't, you live somewhat close to Road America. Please do a track day there. You won't understand why you have the bike you do until you do one. It's 10x over street riding.
You did everything right with buying this 🚀 bike...regarding reliability...if you know how to ride an treat the bike, you will have no issues with it. I'd recommend you watching the latest video from brentune about the bike.
The funny part is I recorded this video a day before BTMOTO uploaded their video, they did an amazing job with explaining a lot of things. The amount of experience they have with these kind of bikes is unmatched! Thank you for the kind words brother🤘🏼 never would of thought buying this bike would be a good financial decision but it’s proven to be a kickstart for a long and fruitful business!
@@s1kdk yea btmoto has a lot of knowledge...if they say something you can believe it. Have a lot of fun with your amazing bike brother and keep the videos coming 💪
2023 is heavily restricted from the factory. It's actually garbage and hard to ride. How did they get so muh turbo lag on a non turbo bike? Once it flashed its perfection.
I live in Wisconsin in a very very rural area, straight roads are all around me no curves. I’m going to the tail again this year and I use up my tires then
