This years event had some of the best skim conditions in recent memory with near perfect liners throughout the contest.
Competition was stacked throughout but in the end 2015 champ Sam Stinnett earned his first win of the year placing him to within striking range of the 2016 UST title.
John Akerman earned second place in the event also placing him within striking distance of the 2016 UST title.
Perry Pruitt and Austin Keen got 3rd and 4th keeping their title hopes toasty over the fire while Max Smetts and Jackson Tenney landed in 5th and 6th.

This is literally the best waves I have ever seen in a video and especially in person, it tears me up that I know how rare these waves are. Mad props to all the guys absolutely shredding it!

This is a local punk band from FL whose singer actually got me into skimboarding in the first place. I made the video. UST didn't choose a thing, it is all on me. Their camera guy didn't show up or something so they asked me to make a video with my crossover tour footage. I did it the way I felt like doing it. Not really into runway model music with over edited hacked up footage and dripping towels and shit. I thought it would be cool to shout out to a local band who actually skimboards.
