You really need to adjust that sway bar, it should be about level horizontally. Just get extended sway bar links and bump stops if you're ever going off road, you don't want to mess up the fenders.

I just now caught this video. That is so cool. I thought my jeep was in a video l didn't know about. Mine is a 2016 Jeep wrangler Sahara Granite Crystal Metallic soft top with a 2 1/2 inch Rough Country lift , 18"× 9" Fuel Assault wheels with 275-70-18 Cooper Discover STT Pro tires. Also a Barricade front bumper with 10,000 lb winch, Rubi rocker guards and rock sliders. That is awesome to have almost a twin .Great video guys! Looking forward to seeing more.

Right tools for the right job make it so much easier. RC left out some hardware out of the box on mine.

Good tutorial, I would emphasize that it is better to connect swaybar after front is down.

I’m just curious, did you create a brake line leak on the first spring/shock install? I saw some fluid on the frame. And then on your test drive you didn’t come to a complete stop at any stop sign, so we were all wondering 😅

No leaks lol might have been water from the AC but we had all brakes

I put the same lift on my 17 JKU and for some reason mine was a lot harder than this one.... I could not get the springs in without removing the rubber spring isolators at the top of the springs. I think that's why mine rides so rough... you feel every bump, it rides like a tank. I want to try to put the isolators back in and even upgrade the shocks, so hopefully it will have a little better of a ride. I know it's a jeep and it's not going to ride like a Cadillac, but mine is bad.

That's weird for sure I did one on a 4 door the springs were needed to be persuaded in alittle more then this video and it was the same lift kit if I remember correctly I think it had something to do with the drive shaft and control arms binding somewhere but still rides alittle rougher but has a lot of sway like a jeep would I hope this helps a little if you have any other questions feel free to ask them!

Do you recall if the front coils fit a little janky onto the rubber isolators? I feel like the tops of mine dont quite line up into the groove of the isolators, bottom is seated correctly.

Check around your brakes or driveshafts because that's going to be a constant moving part or a piece rubbing on a moving part like a dust shield for rotors or a cross member hitting the drive shafts. And I would double check spring to make sure they are seated all the way in and make sure all your control arms are tight on it as well and look for a worn control arm bushing is where I would start to be looking. I hope this helps if anything else feel free to ask!

I’m curious why do the spring ends have to line up with the end?
@gettemtogethergarage8868
@gettemtogethergarage8868 Год назад
Its so the spring seats so it won't fall out and so everything sits level every car with coil springs has the little indent to seat the spring coil overs also have it but it's nother but to align it

The worst lift kit ever for Jk. A small tip, put bilstein shocks 5100 and you will see a totally different car.
