Thank you sighbored it's so good to see you ride around in your country. That's why I love RU-vid and that's why I started vlogging. It gives you such a good look at other cultures that I love. Good luck with things mate
To be honest, the main reason I'm interested in this motorcycle is because of the beautiful front. Those menacing looking headlights just give it so much personality.
Buddy's Insight It looks alright, though personally I prefer the matte black & dark red color scheme on the one in the video. I doubt I'll ever be able to afford this bike, or justify buying one in the first place because I don't really see the point of driving motorcycles this powerful. I'm about to get my motorcycle drivers license so maybe a year from now I'll think differently but for now 650cc at max I'm perfectly happy with :p.
Eh, depends on what you use it for I suppose. I'll simply be commuting on my bike so I don't need loads of torque or speed. Just a comfortable, reliable and safe ride that can keep up with the rest of the traffic, and 650/750cc is perfectly capable of that so I'll probably be just fine :).
The reason why the exhaust gets louder and you have more pops and backfires is because the exhaust gets hot and cold again and again causing it to expand a little bit and the gap in the air way is getting bigger hence the louder it gets :) btw nice video and oh my this z1000 is sexy !
Love it , I have a 636 2016, got it in march and today I decided to have a test ride with Z1000, absolutely love it ... but unfortunately I have to wait one more year to get a decent finance for it, anyway had a R6, R1, ZX1000SX and now ZX6R but z1000 it is just a pleasure to ride , continuously aggressive from down to max rev ,,,just can wait to get one.. Ride safe !!!
Cristian Dragos All good things come to those who wait. This year will fly by and you will soon be very happy. I love it and I have to say it's worth waiting for. I have had loads of sports bikes but this is my favourite machine.

You didn't start it! Beautiful bike. Liked the dreamy quality of the video, your voice, music, and the beautiful birds. Glad you can afford the Lambo, etc. Well done!
Mine is in bike shop at present waiting to be registered with dvla anxiouslly waiting for the phone call to collect it. Cant wait Great video. Need it now so i can sleep at night again.
+Paul Williams You will enjoy it thats for sure. Once its run in you really feel the power. On the way back from my first service yesterday I raced a Nissan GTR one of the fastest cars on our roads. We stayed totally equal all the way. The Z1000 will burn off most supercars out there. It just shows how quick they are. Enjoy it
Thank You BQ I am your 140th subscriber and looking forward to seeing your journey. I need some London riding tips as I am going to do a vlog trip in soon.
Thanks for the sub! Main tip I can give about riding in London is take your time, lots of aggressive riders and drivers around who take silly risks try to avoid them and that's it :) Looking forward to the vlog
The Z1000 is a stunning motorcycle. I've owned one for almost a year now as a daily driver and it still leaves a smile on my face. Equipped with a Vance and Hines exhaust it has a tone that is unique to central Victoria (Australia). Not the 'best' bike for long trips, dense seat leaving a sore bum and suspension that's harder than the road >_< People will come up and compliment her, strangely though more often than not, they are women in their 60's and over.
Get yourself a 7 x 5.5" plate. That's what I've been running for the past 10 years and although I've been stopped by cops on spot checks a few times and it's never even been mentioned. It's a good bit smaller than standard but not taking the piss ... still perfectly legible but looks so much better than standard. Beautiful bike BTW.
Buddy! well done mate. Nicely created video. love the laugh track you have put when you say 'from high speeds to higher speeds'...that's gold! I have been riding the Er6n-14 naked in Melbourne Australia and love the attention it gets. My next bike will be this one whenever i have gotten over the Er6n. +1 for background music too.
I have had the 2003 first one that was great, then I have had 2 of the 2007 / 2008 which I loved the look of but I found when raging the bike the back end was getting tied in knots. So did not keep them two long. To be honest not a big fan of Kawasaki I am more a Yamaha ,Honda , triumph man myself, but saying that I will have any bike that I like. I have just put an offer in on one of these. Never even sat one one but if offer is acceptable with the dealer guess I will own one lol. Good clip.
Tengo la z800 full sugomi edition aquí en Alicante España desde hace 1 mes y es increíble como acelera. Antes tenía una ktm duke 125cc I el cambio es muy grande
Like your vids and I'm subscribed. But a word of advice: skip the audience laughter in the videos. I can't stand it. Beuatiful bike! Just picked up my Z800e last week and I love it
My mate is selling his z1000 2015,looks great but i have a gsx 1400 with a lot of mods and yoshi cams, dyno'd,power commander etc.......i do like the lines of the Z tho......good streetfighter project!!
Can you send a video of your Monaco trip, the London trip "how did you find that", and lastly the sound of your exhaust both hot and cold 😉👌 great video btw
Just can't decide between one of these and a Speed Triple. It's a close one. Both torquey hooligan bikes. I've heard the power increase from having a full system on the Z1000 is 15hp..
kyndryd spyryt if you want crazy fun what about test riding a MT 10. If you are a sensible person one of the would put a permanent smile on your face lol😎👍
Maybe you should put some stickier tyres on it? Metzeler Racetec and Dunlop Sportmax GP Racer 209s are the best, according to the MCN survey, and the Dunlops apparently warm up so fast you don't even need tyre warmers on a track day. My only criticism of this fabulous bike, and I'm being incredibly picky here, is that the Akrapovic logo should be maroon to match the bike and not bright red. I think perhaps it would be OK with a green one, but the two tones of red don't do it for me. Apart from that - beautiful - a real Crouching Tiger with a Hidden Dragon. You be careful on that thing!
Nice "Z", I love mine! I really like your color combination, my 2012 is candy burnt orange. These bikes power wheelie like there's no tomorrow don't they? Ha ha- So much fun, but need to be respected for sure. Ride safe and enjoy!
+Buddy's Insight Some photo's can really make her shine, but the stock Kawi photos are awful. I was blown away by how vibrant and beautiful the orange was in person, and it honestly sealed the deal on me buying it.
Very nice bike and a great walk around video. I've done two myself (STR and Panigale) and I know how difficult they are to do, so I always appreciate seeing the effort other puts in to making them. The Z1000 is my favourite Japanese naked litre bike. Stunning choice and I'm loving the special edition with the Akra! I'd get some LED indicators and a tail tidy if I were you, but I appreciate you're happy with it as it is. Subbed :-) Looking forward to more content.
Hello dude. Epic bike, I'm really kind of jealous already haha! Hope you are enjoying it, I will probably buy one next year, when my house is finished :) I'd prefer green though :P
Thank you mate. You could buy the standard abs model and change the factory exhaust pipes yourself. (It will save you loads of money) It's the best bike that I have ever ridden so you should enjoy it. Let me know how you get on with it. Upload a video on it and so I can also see that beautiful country you live in.
Clash with Bobby Great, I have just had fitted a set of Akrapovic Megaphone GP cans and she sounds amazing, the bike rides very smooth with excellent throttle control.. but man when you want to GO! let me tell you, she has noooo mercy what so ever.. Torque is instant.. im in love bro lol
A1RAGER nice nice!! I really like that ugly AF look lmao. I think the head of the bike is ugly AF. so ugly I'm digging it lol. the rest looks awesome!! sad thing is I'm just 16 and can't own one of those 1000cc bikes untill I'm 21 (might be 24. not sure. fact is I won't be able to own one for another 5 years). have fun riding it! and take care of it for me if u don't wanna take care of it for your self lol :P ride safe!!
Clash with Bobby Just take this advice mate.. dont rush! I wish I was your age again. you get to experience all these difference size bikes and build your way up. so just enjoy living in the moment, and dont be under any illusion.. some 600 - 800 bikes out there are more than enough trust me. oh and when I said ugly I meant beastly in the aggression not looks lol I personally love how she looks... every bit of her lol. ride safe mate.
A1RAGER thanks for those tips!! I'm currently looking into buying my self a 125cc bike... but I'll have to finance it myself. so I'll have to go work this summer lol. hope I'll manage!!
Nice video. I want to ask you, do you have any problem with air in high speed and in the highway? Is that a big issue with this bike especially in long distances?
Hello mate for me it's not been a problem. This is my first naked sports bike after three top super bike's and I don't think I am going to go back to one. It feels a lot more raw aggressive and fun. Take one for a test ride to be sure. I hope this helps
Hi Buddy and every one, I would appreciate it very much if you can tell me how many keys your bike has, two black and one red or just two black? A friend of mine has the same bike like yours and he has two black keys but some mechanic insists that this bike comes with two black and one red. Thanks in advance Steve
Why are people against beginners getting one of these? Is it because they will slip on the gas-handle and lose control or?...Fill me in, I don't get it
Sensei X It's not that people are against it but jumping on a 1000cc for a first bike is let's face it quite dangerous. In the U.K. They have change the legal age for someone to get one. I think you now have to be 21 before you can ride one. I am a sensible rider that doesn't want to end up in a wheelchair. I think back now and I am so pleased I didn't have one when I was in my early 20s. Thanks mate
Very Cool Vid but on the subject of a super car this is my opinion If I ever spend over $100K on a car it will be a luxury sedan because when I want to go fast I will stick to motorcycles.
I know that would be the common sense thing to do but it's been a dream for me to live with a Supercar for a bit of time. My wife brings some amazing Mercedes cars home and the novelty has gone on the luxury for me. I spotted a lovely black Audi R8 v10 spider at the weekend that I was taken with. Your bike looks stunning and I am looking forward to see how you get on with it. Thanks mate
Hi I'm about the to order one this afternoon.. I just need one final push to get it.. what do you think about the meter cover being added would it lose some of its nice looks ?
Hello mate I am not sure what you mean when you say meter cover. When you see one at your dealership you will be taken by its looks. The only part I would change is the back plate and holder. They are beautiful and at our big 2016 bike show people queued to get a photo on it.
+Russell Bates Oh ok. Having done 500 miles on it so far I have to say I wouldn't put a screen on. Theres something raw about the bike that I love. After my last three new super bikes with fairings this is my favourite by a long way. The riding position mixed with the sheer power makes it a lot of fun. I hope this helps and go for it. Let me know how you get on
hello, buddys insight. i watched your video. i was disappointed. there was little to no insight information on what a z1000 owner can give me an advise for prior to buying one exepct the exaust information. as a tip its just really boring to hear for almost 8 minutes how good this bike looks. thats obvious.
Jack Ryves it was completely comfortable and amazing really. In just 2 hours and 23 minutes we were here. Absolutely no stress like you get sometimes times with flying. We will do it again
how are you faring with the bike. really looking to getting myself one in the Matt silver and green. was wondering how you've found the traction control when accelerating. and also the stiffness of the suspension. actually watching your video on the ABS now. lol
Thanks mate. When I park it anywhere people stop and take pictures of it which is a bit strange to me. As for my chicken strips you know what it's like you don't want to lean a new bike over to much incase you go down. It's a lot of fun
+Buddy's Insight so today had another test ride. Got back to the dealer..... Went to order one.... None in stock until the new year! WTF. Kawasaki customer service are in the case.
+01phantomx stick with it mate and see what they can do. You will eventually enjoy it so much. I tested the BMW s1000rr and I still love the z1000. If you don't get one you can always buy one Feb/March and run it in for next summer. Are you from the uk? If you are the NEC bike show is fantastic to see what's available and coming up. Good luck
+01phantomx That is good news. You will be so happy with it. I have never seen another Sugomi anywhere they must be extremely rare. Do a vid on it and upload it. What part of the U.K. Are you from?
