Hello people my name is Buddy and I am a Moto vlogger from the UK My channel is about my love of Adventure bikes and people who solo tour. My passion started in 2004 after watching the long way round and sparking off my desire to own a BMW GS Adventure. I now have a GSA R1200 Triple Black which I rate as my best bike to date. Follow my channel and see how I get on with it.
Something to think about, this is fantastic for the basic oil change service once a year but every few years its still a great idea to get a full service from a mechanic. Its heaps more quid but they'll check other crucial things like belts, suspension, brakes etc and make sure your motor is in tip top! Only needed every 2 or 3 years though I reckon
I am glad you made this video. Amazing to see your enthusiasm and happiness with the new bike. While this is absolutely amazing bike; the best part of video is watching you enjoying your achievement celebrated. Well done buddy! Enjoy the GSA!
Great help that thanks, the newer ones are slightly different in so far as you don’t have to do any drilling. Great tip on the screw lengths , I wouldn’t have picked up on that👍
I see this is an old video - so a good questions to ask, a) found it still covered your needs? B) I read somewhere that people had rust issues… yours remained rust free?
Just popped up on my time line.....I still own my zed. It is, the best all round bike I've ever owned....period. It's had forged wheels, Nitron stage 3 rear, Nitron pro front cartridges, Brembo HPC calipers and loads of other mods I can't remember....its made a good bike. Great. No plans to sell and it just clicked over 25k...
@@buddysinsight9834 Thanks. I am right now just ordering the filters I will need online, and was thinking last night about how to get around the ramp situation.
You can carefully jack up each side of the car and put a couple of thick wooden blocks under the wheels. It’s just so you can put a big piece of cardboard down and slide under the car. What type of car is it you want to service?
@@buddysinsight9834 good idea! The car is a 2009 hyundai tucson. Has 180k on it and have not had a service in over 3 years. It is getting old now and worried I am doing major damage by not changing oil so had the idea of learning to do the basics myself so I could at least change oil etc and filters more often if I knew how.
@@Ann-ly5lk Well done you I promise it’s very easy to do. If you type into RU-vid 2009 Hyundai Tucson service there is videos on how to do it exactly for that car. I am not sure we get them here in the uk I don’t recognise them.
I have had the 2003 first one that was great, then I have had 2 of the 2007 / 2008 which I loved the look of but I found when raging the bike the back end was getting tied in knots. So did not keep them two long. To be honest not a big fan of Kawasaki I am more a Yamaha ,Honda , triumph man myself, but saying that I will have any bike that I like. I have just put an offer in on one of these. Never even sat one one but if offer is acceptable with the dealer guess I will own one lol. Good clip.
After owning many bikes the sound of a bike when I open it up is everything to me. I have not tried electric yet but people say it feels so flat. I have never been called an old punk before that’s funny.👍
Thanks for the video. The more you service you engine the longer it will last. I saw a D4D Hilux with 1,2 million km on! The owner services it every 5 000 km
Entendi, o eixo de cames das válvulas de entrada se move na horizontal e expõe para essas válvulas de entrada um cames maior que preme mais a válvula em baixos regimes e outro cames menor em alto regime que aproveita melhor a expansão da explosão..
I commute, I ride cross country through AZ to WI. I wear an Aerostich R3 - bulky when off but nothing faster to get into or out of, with full arnored GoreTex goodbess.
My mate is selling his z1000 2015,looks great but i have a gsx 1400 with a lot of mods and yoshi cams, dyno'd,power commander etc.......i do like the lines of the Z tho......good streetfighter project!!
I’m on my second gsa, sold the first one and regretted it within hours, went back to a vstrom 1000, then zzr1400, and back to a gsa, everything in he video is true
Good luck with your viewing I actually sold mine which I hugely regret. I just can’t believe I sold it because out of all of the bikes I have owned in my life that was my favourite. Yes they are big but honestly that was one of my favourite things about the bike. If you wanted to get across country fast the low slung engine allows you to corner like your on rails. Mixed with the grunt and sound of the boxer engine made every journey so enjoyable. I can’t ride at the moment because of vaccine and covid damage but hopefully I will be able to again one day.
Well thank God not everyone is an entrepreneur otherwise very little would actually get done, made or built, cleaned or fixed, or healed or rescued when in danger etc. It takes all kinds.
I just buy a genuine service kit from a main dealer and I put the mileage date and my signature on the receipt. Then I slip it in the service book. Every car I have ever sold the buyers have been more than happy. Saved myself thousands and I know the job is done right
Ciao, per favore puoi dirmi la taglia del tuo completo ? e se non ti spiace le tue misure (peso altezza etc etc.) sto' acquistando ora la stessa tuta usata ma ho paura per le misure grazie mille !!
This is an excellent product. I once pulled a huge flint out of my rear tyre. Dynaplug recommend using a maximum of three plugs in a hole, but with three it was still leaking, so I plugged it with another one and then another. This stopped the leak. I reinflated the tyre with a mini pump I carry on the bike, and rode from Essex home to Norfolk. I was cautious at first, stopping after a few miles to check the pressure, but as my confidence grew I was soon up to motorway speeds. With that many plugs in the hole, I did replace the tyre, but with just one I probably wouldn't bother.
