Glad you used the old school swap and see method works every time! BTW what OBD scanner app are you using please if you don't mind sharing info looks like a decent pro style program!
Old school method still works on modern vehicle, the app called KDS Kia Diagnostics System only works when VCI is connected to the vehicle. Thanks for watching
M having trouble with my 2017 model. Random misfires are frustrating. Theres no check engine light or random misfire data on my OBD. ENGINE vibrates on idle and when in gear , i can feel the misfires under my seat and on steering 😞.
Hmm… I’m not sure what is going on there, is your engine running rough? If not you try to perform battery cap discharge. Good luck. Thanks for watching.
@carlawschanneletc I just did as you suggested in the video and the misfire moved from cylinder 4 to cylinder 2, where I switched the spark plugs. Going to get new ones but had a question. Should I switched the coils back around from 1 and 4? Or it's OK to leave them?
