The first 3 gears should be faster than this. But for the price it's a good base model with 1,6, all other kia models except sorento start with 1,0 tgdi.
Yesterday I wondered why the driver of a similar Kia had to tailgate me very aggressively every time the speed limit dropped below 80 km/h. Now I understand. Accelerating that thing back to 80 or 100 km/h takes ages and the engine sounds very stressed. And I usually drive at the speed limit +10 km/h on the speedo = 5 or 6 km/h over the limit in real speed.
Why didn't you let him pass? Maybe he was in an emergency. I usually do slightly over the limit myself, but if there is faster car behind it is kinda stupit to not let him go.
@@extracoolboy Plenty of safe overtaking opportunities. If he really was in a hurry, he'd used one of them. Absolutely no excuse for dangerous tailgating.
@@calculus77 it always takes two to put up a fight. Should have let him/her pass or just driven faster if you were so afraid of his/her dangerous tailgating. But you did not which means you deliberately did not want to be overtaken. I consider these drivers being much more dangerous with their passive aggressiveness than the ones that just want to overtake you because they simply want to go faster.
this car is not a sport car but people dont understand. If u drive like this u can end the life of the car very fast. This is a family car for normaly drive .
xavisky i do not care about the weight because i need a fun drive...i want a car not a tank bro. any way if you compare its acceleration with its category mini SUV you will find it also slower than the most of them
Mini SUV (=crossover) with similary powered engine will be faster because it's smaller and lighter. If you want more performance - 1.6 turbo (177hp) or 2.0 (185hp) will be much better.
