3:25 Bow valley parkway wasn’t open for traffic since 2020 to 2021 and it was opened for the rest north of highway 93 south there but when I went for a ride to lake Louise in Banff national park the road from last year gotten repaved and widened the rest of the parkway and what I seen was more Lounge areas on the left side of the parkway

A "super two" is a freeway grade highway that is two lanes total. An example would be the Franconia Parkway in New Hampshire.

Highway 19 in Riding Mountain National Park is 60 km/h as well and is a gravel road with many more curves along with those you have to slow down to 30 for. I wouldn't recommend trying that one. Take Mountain Road or Highway 5 instead. Looking at all the roadside turnouts and bicycles, it's no wonder the speed limit is 60 here. Nice drive regardless!

Ahh! These rural Banff drives, along with the rural (MUCH less interrupted/populated) Canadian highways between cities from you are quite relaxing! But I'm afraid you're off on what a Super Two is; they're actually freeways that only have one lane each direction. They're actually quite rare and most are built/graded with a longer term divided 4+ lane expansion eventually in mind.

Ahh okay, well similar idea that there are sections that are divided one way roads (that's where I was going with that). but you're right it's not a freeway.

There are quite a few of them in eastern Canada, A-50 east of Gatineau, NB-11 west of Bathurst, NS 101 and 103 are all examples of super-two's.

I don't think we have many of these 1+1 roads in the US, and it's a bit of a shame. Seems quite environmentally responsive. The closest example I can think of is Old Fall River Road in Rocky Mountain NP, but it was converted from a regular two-lane road to a one-lane one-way road after they built Trail Ridge Road as a replacement.

You have a great mix of music for your videos. You need a drone for your excursion. It would be a better experience for your viewers.

Rudy Simmonds I've thought about that idea too of using a drone. I have to look into it and learn how to operate those.

I don't think the term Super Two refer to a divided highway. Thanks for the vid. Cheers. onlinemanuals.txdot.gov/txdotmanuals/rdw/super_2_highways.htm

Please make some videos in normal speed and longer :) Love to watch your videos

normal speed videos aren't really my style. I find that road footage tends to look really slow when played back at normal speed. There are some good channels that do that though, like BigRigTravels.

You can slow the videos down yourself. Click on the gear symbol at the bottom right of the screen, then click on Speed and you have various options for slowing down or speeding up the video.
