Thanks for posting. Not much out there on RU-vid for later model GMs. Even though I have an Impala, your video answers my question. Gotta pull the entire front off. Thanks again.
Thank u and yea it was a pain when it came to removing the bumper mainly the middle lol now u can remove the headlights without full removal of the bumper just gotta have plenty of light and stuby ratchet lol
Yes unless u have another person with u that can hold the bumper driver side out while u get to the bottom bolt that's covered if the bottom bolt plastic part is already broken u can go to the fender well remove the skirting and can get to it that way
Pretty sketchy video. Some good info, but I fear tackling this on my own. To replace just one side, must you still remove the entire bumpers, or can you just ease them away to install? Also, I can't remove the round access plate to the headlight lamp. It seems permanently stuck on!
Also I recommend go in from the finder wheel I take a pair of curved needle pliers and get the pliers in the groove and turn if u need me to make a video let me know I'll show the 3 ways to do it the one I was saying is a little easier then the others less removal lol
Alot of theses newer cars are a pain to change out body panels. Look up the chevy malibu forums there's usually a video or a info on how toos if I can't ever find any I just search parts or replacement screws for that specific panel or part I'm wanting to change that will give u a good idea on how difficult it will be or what to look for on the car! Thank u for the comment
