Thank you so much man I picked up my jetta from a VW garage and they left me with this ~ after they lost my key fob and had to replace it + called them up and they let it run to voicemail so I just had to fix this annoyance with the help of your video thank you again 10/10

There is a oil change light and a inspect light. Inspect light depends on millage on what to check. Mainly check over of vehicle. Check your owners manual. .should be something there regarding it
It would be a check over of the vehicle light i do believe or a certain millage interval maintenance check. would check the drivers hand book in the maintenance schedule section
That was fast thank it work. Turn on emergency, turn off the car, hold the reset 00, turn on the car, let go off the reset, press left menu button, turn off the car, turn off emergency turn on the car again to check.
Winter time we see average of -10 to -20 degrees Celsius which is not to to bad. We normally get 2 to 4 weeks of -30 to -45 degrees Celsius around January - February which is pretty cold but dress for the temperature. Sumner June July August 20-40 degrees Celsius. More 20-30 degrees Celsius on average in summer. Then every other temperature between in other seasons or months.
It is a maintenance light. Different services at different millage or run hours. If you follow the manufacture service intervals such as brake maintenance. Vehicle check over. Different fluid changes. Check service manual mileage for service interval. I believe that is what this light is for as a reminder preset from the manufacturer.
Need help. I bought a wrecked one from an auction, runs and drives but temp is not displaying at dash..just shows dashes and F..also fans are not coming on, they before i changed out a temp sensor, got an ideas of why its not displaying a temp? Thanks
@@LUCAMTire thanks for the response, it was in a front end collision, i am still putting it back together. I guess my question is what sends that temp number to the dash cluster i am thinking the thermostst within the pump!?
@@urighht off the top of my head i am not sure where the temp sensor is on this particular model. Google year make model engine temp sensor location. There might also be 2. One that sends signal to ecu and one that sends signal to cluster. I ran in to this problem on a different vehicle. If I get some time after I will look up the wiring on prodemand.
So mine has this inspec light come one when I turn on the car then when I cycle through the menu to check the coolant and engine oil temp it says my coolant is at -45 degrees. I’ve taken it to multiple mechanics and they couldn’t give me a straight answer as to why it did this, I’ve had everything looked over and the thermostat checked and they’ve said everything is fine and that when hooked up to the computer the car shows it’s reaching running temp. This is a very desperate attempt but would you possibly have some idea as to why it’s been doing this?
you probably have more then one temperature sensor. one for the computer and one for the gauge. the one for the gauge is probably bad as it is reading -45

Hey I got a 2013 Jetta but it just starts beeping out of nowhere even sometimes on the freeway and it won't stop, is there a reason or a way to stop that?
sounds like a clock spring, key fob, security alarm or remote start issue, See a garage to sort out the scenario would be your best bet as it could be a number of things. each scenario is generally different. there is always a route cause. Is there any codes? any steering wheel button issues. radio malfunctioning, is there a remote start. when did this scenario start? did it start right after a repair? was the battery changed or disconnected. Does the vehicle have any electrical button problems that may be tied in with the security of the vehicle. any recalls. Call dealer to see if there is any recalls regarding this scenario.
@PIRUSQUAD the inspection light in Volkswagen vehicles is a general check over of the vehicle set on a millage interval from factory. Different millages are for different checks. The oil change light is for oil change intervals but would recommend changing every 8,000km on synthetic oil gas engine, instead of the manufacture interval of 18,000km if your vehicle is on the 18,000km interval. If you are referring to a yearly or by yearly inspection set by the provincial gov or state gov. This light has nothing to do with that the gov inspection tag or papers. This light is a maintenance reminder light to check over vehicle to make sure nothing is falling off or any things that may be required to do at that time. Hope this helps
@@LUCAMTire not really,I live in America and I live in Ohio and to pass an e check so you can drive the car legally on the road you have to pass what is called a e check,but if you have a check Engine light on they will fail you. So I’m asking if I do this trick will the code that made my check engine light come on pop up?
@PIRUSQUAD this trick will only reset the inspection light interval on the dash. If check engine light is on, vehicle should be brought to a reputable mechanic to be diagnosed.
PDC is Park Distance Control for say back up sensors circuit. Distance detection system. EPC is Electronic Power Control related to electric throttle system
@@chrisaaa899 something to do with your electronic throttle system. Need to check codes or pending codes or continue to drive untill it occurs again. What year make and model is your vehicle and size engine. I will see if there is any technical service bulletins on that particular vehicle
Not sure. Probably just a general check over of the vehicle to make sure things are still safe? Never really check into it. Will prolly check into it now that you ask lol 😂
Try using the push button and turning it to the run positing like the procedure shown with out pushing the brake peddle so the vehicle will not start. It will prolly be the same procedure as shown in the video.
all the lights in the dash should not stay on. seems there might be a computer software issue or a electrical problem some where. Best to see a professional mechanic in your area who knows electrical for them to diagnose
