For the push button start model all you have to do is push it a little bit down and it asks about really wanting to reset inspection. Thanks for the great video!

if inspection light on it is safe or not if we continue our journey?or we change our oil next month because the mileage actually not achieve the target mileage..
Why did the inspection come on in the first place is something going on with the engine or does something need service? In other words do you wanna just ignore it?
I have the same question Tami. Did you ever get an answer for this? Been coming on in my VW California Beach and is driving me mad but don't want to reset it until I know why it's on in the first place.
John Farrell from what I gather, it’s just a reminder type thing. On my 2015 Golf tdi, it actually started a count down from 2500. Saying “inspection in 2500 Km”. I knew nothing was wrong, and when I checked with my dealer, they said it was just a check up sort of thing. It also came on right at 80000 km which should have been a give away too.
@@abacouli Did it with the instructions from vw website, totally different method to yours so...... I won't make it personal like you did though as I'm a grown up
