Thanks for the help. What worked on my 2019 American standard version was similar- pushing the trip reset button while off and While still pushing button turn on and after reset question comes up release reset button and push it again

I got my oil changed a month ago along with them putting a new oil pan on. Now my oil/insp light is on.

This worked on my 2016 jetta sport. The missing link for me was having the hazard lights on it seems. Cheers!
