2016 was a great year as I had the privilege to share my shop with Maximilian Neukäufler from Woodsmans Finest. We learned a ton together this past year as we dug into traditional craft. This video is pretty unscripted so we hope you enjoy!

hey guys. Wow... putting it in the nutshell. Good to hear about the reality of going full-time. I'm the guy who can't wait to get off work to do the carving thing and would prefer to do that instead of the day gig that pays the bills.

I hear you man! The gras is always greener on the other side... same is true once you start crafting fulltime sometimes!

G'day, I'm a DIY , live in the bush ,cut split and burn wood, build things, construct and repair things.. I love wood. I would like to get involved with carving and I thought spoons would be fun.. Great gifts, great satisfaction,, all that.. I was surprised to see some of teh tools being used. I was thinking band saws, fancy carving knives. Of course all that is advantageous but Jeff made it look so easy with hand tools.. Where do I start? What tools do I need to start. I'm northern Ontario Canada.. Where to buy this stuff.. Thanks..
