Did a full EGR delete on a 2018 F250 Platinum. Used Ezlynk. Followed the directions per Colt. 3 buddies, 3 hours later and a case of Coors Latte, truck runs like a dream. Thanks to Colts way for walking us thru it.

@@nathanbullard2694 I was told no I didn’t need to but while my truck was running I unplug the sensor on the EGR valve and it shut. That means the valve was being told to stay open, so I unplugged all three anyways.

It’s a transmission tune. Just changes the shift points and stuff. The 2nd gear lock locks the torque converter in 2nd gear at wide open throttle instead of I think 4th gear where it locks from the factory. Thanks for watching brother. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

You could put it back to stock but the dealer will know that you have flashed it. So you can’t hide it. Just depends if your dealer is cool or not. 🇺🇸. Thanks brother!

LOVE the dummy plugs. So on my last truck I did a “muffler” delete. Just left the plugs hanging. When I traded it in, I had to put the muffler back on. Got a few error codes because all the plugs got corroded over the years lol

First, awesome video! I appreciate your no nonsense approach to showing us how to do things. Sooo, I've got a beautiful 2015 F-250 that I plan on keeping forever. I've been doing lots of internet research. For longevity purposes, is it better to remove the EGR so it won't clog over time rather than unplug it? I'm not a mechanic, so I don't know if that is possible or if I'm overthinking it. I like the thought of unplugging it in the event I would need to put the extra weight accessories back on for any reason, but like I said, I want to keep my truck forever if possible and I'm concerned about the long term effects of leaving the EGR on if it's unplugged. Thanks once again!

There is nothing wrong with jus the unplugging it, but if I was going to just keep it forever I’d do the block off plates. Just so I could customize everything and add piping kits and shit. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

Hey colt, I just did my truck. With the help Of your videos it all went well. Sounds great! Only thing is now my truck developed a squeaking sound after i shut off the engine. Any ideas what it may be? Does your truck do that after deleting?

This actually makes me excited about doing this. Do you have a link to the muffler delete(straight pipe)? And maybe a link to that module you plugged into the ECU that that hooked up to your phone? I have had quotes of $3000.00 and up to do what you just did. Shit, like I can do that. With your help(video) under there, thank you for the videos. I'm so tired of my DEF issues.

Man I wish it was. It’s a good bit more expensive with 20-21 models. Have to get something done with the ecm or send it off or something. I’ve never done one. But go to outdoortrucks.com and contact him. He has done some 20’s. Tell him colt sent you. 🇺🇸

Anytime my man. My great uncle is out there and we go to stay with him. Truth be told my grandpa dreams of living out there, but my grandma wouldn’t ever go for it! So we go as much as we can to take him. It’s beautiful and I’d love to live there, but the wife wouldn’t go for it either! Thanks, my dogs name is Diesel.
