When is Ford going to stop running CCV back into the filtered cold air intake gumming everything up and destroying the perfectly metered air fuel ratio, lowering HP and MPG? On some false idea that that is going to clean up emissions, it just can not. That is just like putting a pinhole in your condom and saying you will be getting better protection 🤔😱Mr. Banks what is your take on this. Or are you sworn to some government gag order? Like our Doctors during COVID-19. Anyway I do feel that a large area of baffled catch can with a 3/8" ball check drain valve on the bottom is better than venting CCV straight to the atmosphere.
They not going anywhere, they last plenty long enough. But you don’t need them. The tune turns the sensors off. I just put them in in the case I needed to go back to stock. The plugs keep the water and stuff out that way if you need to use the plugs in the future they will still be good. But if you ain’t ever going back to stock you don’t need them. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
Hey Colt, its Jake we met at the gas Staton that one day in my black f250 plati. if you ever looking for a Filmer or someone to do truck stuff with holla at me and let me know how i need to get in touch, I stay close by, Keep it Classy!
Hell yeah! I just bought a 2022 2 fiddy white xlt it’s identical to yours.. only has 30k on the odo and it rides like shit. Already had the original stabilizer replaced and made it a tad bit better but not the way a $50k truck should ride. This will be one of the first mods I do. Super excited! I appreciate your vids Colt! Your truck motivated me to buy one just like it, you were the buffer between buying an $80k plati or just a good old XLT that has the same (basic) features and same motor that’s just gonna eventually get scratched from hunting anyway! Thanks again brother!💪🏼
Hey man you ever have any issues with your piping kit? CCV reroute? I use these trucks for my business and Im wondering how reliable it is.. stock ive never had any issues with 3 6.7’s all over 250k miles one I just sold at 308k lol
My man; appreciate you watching. But that sub button if you haven’t. No I haven’t had any problems at all. The CCV stinks now but ima put a Venturi on it soon and that should take care of the smell. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
Let that sweater meat hang out Ole son ! Girl dad here and she goes everywhere with me , she operates equipment , helps me fix all the things has her own welding hood . Welds better and operates equipment better than any liberal need I've met in the field and she's 5 . We try eating clean I'm this house , we work together work out together and learn together. Keep after it colt !
Hey Colt. Love your videos man! Best ones out there. I was wondering what you did with the DEF tank; did you drain it, remove it or just unplug the electrical connections?
I got a question Colt. I have a 2020 F-250 and my transmission wants to go from 1st gear to 10th as fast as it can. If I’m going up a hill or down the street it won’t stay in that gear it wants to just stay in 9th 10th gear lagging around also have a huge delay in throttle response…. So my question is have any of yall had this and will delete and exhaust with 5 tunes fix this? Thanks for the awesome videos 👊🏻@coltsway
Hey man I know this isn’t talked about in this video, but have you done anything to your cp4? Have you had any issues? Do you use a fuel additive? What are your opinions on the cp4 issues?
Good stuff brother!! I am trying to cut back myself lately. Super hard with wanting to get into some busch lattes on the weekends.....lol . I feel my maintenance calories is around 2700-3000. I am at 250 at the moment being 6foot2. Would love to get down to 235 or so but been pretty happy around this weight for almost 2 years now. How long do you cut for? I really need to cut the beers out for a month or so and see if I can cut down 10 lbs for so....lol Also, what watch do have? I really need to get something to track my steps. I know we get a lot in but there may be a day or so when I dont get at least 10k . Thanks for what you do brother!!
New subscriber. I can relate to how you handle the frustration. After watching all the hard work you put into this on board air build, do you recommend this route or just get the Milwaukee 18v inflator? I notice you use all Milwaukee tools anyways. That 18v Inflator is pretty powerful. For all the applications you mentioned it seems like it would be a suitable contender for on board air. Not to mention portability.
What a real man does is make sure he takes care of his family. Getting up to get what you want done so you can make sure your wife can have time without the kids is what defines a real man and a real husband. I appreciate you setting the standard.
So funny question .. what is the fuse even for .. I been searching for days how to make them work when headlights on but turn off when I’m parked and truck running .. I gotta 18 f150 so I just unplugged it and they still come on when headlights on so what’s the whole purpose of the fuse in the first place I’m lost but I’m happy I found this lol
The comedy is the appeal lol... make whatever videos you want. If you do happen to see this though, I'd love an update on the Morimoto F250 light upgrades, if they have stayed just plug and play easy, kinda like set it and forget it, of if you had to follow up with resealing them, or reconnecting them... any issues like that?
My man! Appreciate it brother. All of the morimoto lights are still working just the same as the day I hooked them up. Haven’t touched them since! Been really happy with them. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
