Watch a full tutorial as a 2017 Ford F250 will have a new pair of Skar Audio component speakers installed in the front doors as well as the tweeter in the dash. We will be using the Skar audio TX65C 6.5" Component speaker set which is rated for 100w RMS each side of power output for better sound quality.
Note: This vehicle was equipped with the Sony amplified system from the factory. We are bypassing the factory Sony amplifier in the amplifier install video (linked below). If you have the Sony system, and plan on keeping the factory amplifier, this process is the same, however, we recommend installing a component set (like the Alpine Type S / Type R) series with the crossover integrated into the speaker lines already.
