been riding this for 7 months so far and already delivered 12.000 kls. No problems so far and drives smoothly even on off road. just a small dis is the very small windbreaker, you can change it but still a factory model a bit taller would have been excelent

Nathan is your man if you're looking for BMW R 1200 GSA. Here is the story: I've been in the market to buy 2017 1200 GSA triple black. I live in Houston, TX. I did find a good deal but was torn apart between standard or low suspension as I'm 5'9. Long story short I did put my down payment for the low suspension last week 6/15/2017 at a local dealer in Houston, TX. My sale person or the dealer could not help me with technical details on the low suspension. For the past 2 days it was a nightmare and sleepless night as this is my 1 time shot to get this dream bike. I stumble upon Nathan's video and was amazed how he treated his customers and explained about the bike in detail. 5 star out of 5. I was so impressed I just called his store this morning at 9 am CST and left my number to call me. Indeed he did call me in 2 hour and I told him the whole story of my shopping. He took his time and gave some tips to go back my to my dealer and try both standard and low. Guess what Nathan was spot on and I did end up zero down on standard GSA. By the way I'm 5'9 inch. Standard GSA with standard seat and low position. I can put my feet down flat foot with my Niki Air running shoes. Moral of this story is Nathan did know that I already bought my bike in Houston, TX. He is not getting my business as I already have the bike but he did not careless he took time and helped me to decide and gave the best advise. I wish all sales person can be like Nathan. He is a perfect example. Nathan if you're ever in Houston dinner and drinks on me mate. I promised Nathan near future will buy a side car and that business will go to Nathan.

Is the low chassis model a completely new suspension unit, or a dealer / factory adjustment, is the front end lowered as well? Just wondering . The twin looks and sounds much nicer than the F650 single that it replaces, almost tempted to go have a close look, I've just noticed BMW Motorad are doing some end of season ride away deals at the moment here in Australia. Nate. Does this low bike have a regular center stand or is this a modified stand? I thought the low version couldn't use a center stand.

Looks like a nice bike. Had previus G650GS single cylinder one for couple months and covered couple thousand miles and sold it. Do not recomend. Very snatchy, jerky natured engine not friendly for daly use. Clunky gearbox, wooden brakes (do not deserve Brembo name) and poor suspention. Do not hate BMW before anyone accuse me just saying for those who plan on buying it.

What's the deal with BMW putting those non matching red bars on the bikes for the past 2 years? Then on the red model they put grey bars. It's hideous like a spare part from the junkyard.
