Rita Payes is the best Jazz vocalist to come out of SAJB, as well as having a very expressive jazz trombone style, I can only beg for the great Chamorro to give her more exposures, feature her more, build her up like you did the great Andrea Motis! gracias

Something tonally expressive about her’ she puts her full- “Body & Soul “ into her vocals etc , cheers to you ALL , - MORE please .p’s- it’s very rare, I can listen to vocals ,” in language I hardly understand , so this is “ complement” from me to you etc .

Adoro a la Rita Payés adolescente, esa del 2014 al 2017, angelical, simpática, risueña y traviesa, pero sobre todo cien por cien jazzistica y bossera, increíblemente talentosa, con un estilo, un sentimiento y una expresividad que están al alcance de muy pocas tocadas por los dioses, como ella, Andrea Motis o Alba Armengou... Creo que Rita en esos años alcanzó su cenit de excelencia, que le va acostar mucho superar alguna vez. Ahora de adulta tiene mejor voz, claro, mucha más experiencia, es una artista excepcional, pero ... la magia difícil de explicar que desprendía aquellos años, no sé, me parece que es irrepetible. La interpretación de este precioso tema brasileño es fantástica, ya digo, con Rita en estado de gracia y un Joan Codina mostrando su inmenso talento y técnica al trombón (por algo se licenció con premio extraordinario en el Conservatorio del Liceo). Dos de los muchos "extraterrestres" que han salido de la factoría Chamorro. El acompañamiento de los maestros habituales en estas grabaciones, Terraza, Traver, Chamorro y Pi, pues como siempre, sin mácula ni reproche alguno (y ese solo del genial Traver ...).

Can´t wait for the CD to be released. I have to say that none of the CD´s of the series has disappointed me, on the contrary, I have the feeling that each one is better than the one before. And, if I am not wrong, after Joan Codina´s CD, the next one will be dedicated to Alba Armengou! The future looks promising...

What an outstanding vocal performance by Rita! She grows in (gigantic) leaps and bounds and invariably captures my heart with her unique voice and style. I think Rita is destined to be one of the jazz greats, and she's well on the way. I love all those wonderful musos too. I especially like Joan Codina's tone and solo prowess.
