I'd like to add that in addition to the steering wheel tilt, you can also push and pull the steering wheel in and out so that you can adjust the wheel for a comfortable reach.

Great review, Tyler! The Sonic seems like a pretty good value for your money! Also, the exterior styling looks fairly attractive for the class, and doesn't look like what the price may suggest, besides the hub caps. Option up to some alloys, and that vehicle is a pretty sophisticated and style forward looking vehicle vehicle. The interior is also fairly class competitive, especially with that color LCD touch screen and rear guidance lines with trajectory, which isn't that common on cars in that class. that's kind of funny how they give you a touchscreen, usb port, rearview camera, and bluetooth standard when those features have just came to cars in recent years. yet they give you manual mirrors, windows, and no cruise. i don't understand why car manufacturers do this to subcompact cars. why not make the newer features more superior on the higher models and the base models have things like the power windows, mirrors, and cruise control (features that have been out since the 50s) standard? makes no sense. i'm pretty sure we'd all sacrifice these newer features for stuff that should be standard on cars today: power windows, locks, mirrors, and cruise control. if we want the newer features, we buy the higher trims. it really doesn't make sense to me, but every subcompact manufacturer does it. the accent is the only one to come with power windows standard, and most others like the fiesta do have power mirrors. but them not giving you cruise control is really just stupid and i can't believe chevy would give you a touchscreen, bluetooth, and a rearview camera but not power windows.

Nevermind the crank up windows and lack of cruise control whatever you do make sure to have that bluetooth. That means everything while driving and using a car.

Crazy! The last brand new car that I bought was a 2002 daewoo Lanos. I paid $7998 for that car. 15 years later and they are selling for 10 grand more? Just crazy.

Is it visible in US Canada streets? In India, it is our choice as it comes in Rs 650,000-750,000 or roughly between US$10,000-15,000

I don’t know about this gen but my old 2013 LT got stuck in gear sometimes and just felt cheap. I have a 2017 Corolla XSE and it’s an amazing car. I’d never go back to a car like the Sonic.

I’m looking into getting the 2017 1.4L Turbo, I test drove it and loved it, I test drove the fit as well but found it very noisy. Currently I drive a 2007 base model Toyota Corolla, I have no idea the type of horsepower it has but I’m hoping someone here can tell me if they’re similar? I usually drive in town so I don’t need a powerful car but I do go on road trips so I do like to have a bit of power. Is the turbo comparable to the Toyota Corolla?

You can use the "AUX"ilery stereo input for devices or your cell phone, then pull up your selection of music on youtube or if you're waiting for someone, watch youtube videos and listen thru the car stereo. I put all of my cd collection on 2 USB sticks and plug then into the USB port, which plays from the car stereo

I remember test driving the Sonic a couple of years ago, but didn’t like the car. Ended up buying a Ford Fiesta instead. I love that car. :)
